Beating Hearts from Living Babies?

Sep 9, 2019

The twisted world of fetal tissue trafficking came into disturbing focus last week during Sandra Merritt's pre-trial hearing in San Francisco. What we learned was shocking.

Meanwhile, California's attorney general is determined to crush Sandra. He's using the state's almost unlimited resources to put her behind bars for years. Will you help defend this courageous pro-life champion with a gift today? She's fighting for her freedom and costs are soaring. Please be as generous as you can! And read below for shocking details. –Mat

The founder of a firm which "procures" organs from tiny aborted infants made a disturbing admission last week in a San Francisco courtroom.

"Doe 12," the CEO of StemExpress, testified at Sandra Merritt's pre-trial evidentiary hearing that her firm supplies Stanford University with human hearts taken from little babies. Babies, by the way, which Planned Parenthood and others, kill by abortion.

That's shocking, gruesome and sickening.

But it raises this appalling question:

Were those infants alive and their hearts still beating when the "vultures" at StemExpress cut out their hearts and shipped them to Stanford?

Here's why that question has to be asked. A published study indicates Stanford researchers used a technique called Langendorff profusion to keep fetal hearts beating outside the body. But to work, Langendorff profusion reportedly requires a beating heart at the very outset.

In other words, StemExpress may have supplied beating hearts taken from living babies to meet Stanford's requirements.

But this is not a sci-fi horror movie. It's real life. Consider this . . .

+ + Alive after abortion . . .

Sandra Merritt's undercover investigation, conducted with her colleague David Daleiden, uncovered evidence that some babies are still alive when their organs are harvested. For example . . .

Holly O'Donnell, a former StemExpress "procurement technician" told CMP her supervisor once asked her to come see "something kind of neat."

It was a nearly intact late-term baby aborted at a Planned Parenthood facility in San Jose, California. The coworker took an instrument, O’Donnell said, "and she just taps the heart and it starts beating."

Referring to the infant's beating heart, O'Donnell said, "I don't know if that constitutes it's technically dead, or it's alive."

And the executive director of organ procurement firm Novogenix, told an undercover investigator, "There are times when, after the procedure is done, that the heart is still beating." Novogenix has harvested fetal organs at the Planned Parenthood facility in Los Angeles.

Both California and federal laws mandate the same care for an infant who is born alive after an abortion as for a normally delivered baby. In addition, California law bars any experimentation on a fetus with a discernible heartbeat.

But it's not Planned Parenthood that California Attorney General Xavier Becerra is prosecuting. It's our client, Sandra Merritt, who exposed how Planned Parenthood traffics in baby body parts.

Becerra, a partisan Democrat who has said he stands with Planned Parenthood, slapped Sandra with a 15-count felony criminal indictment. If convicted, Sandra could spend more than a decade behind bars.

+ + Sandra needs your help now!

That's why we must do everything possible on her behalf now!

Right now, we're in week two of a lengthy preliminary hearing—a pre-trial to determine if there is adequate evidence to go to trial. It lasts two weeks and is incredibly expensive.

Will you help us battle on her behalf and defend liberty, life and the family in courts nationwide?

The need is urgent. And the costs are enormous.

Our attorneys are staying at a time-worn hotel 45 minutes from the courthouse downtown where accommodations would have cost twice as much. Even so, hotel expenses this month will be more than $10,000!

And just one day's worth of court transcripts is over $1,000. Add to that plane tickets, meals, local transportation and other expenses.

We're also preparing for another intense contest in just weeks. Liberty Counsel goes to trial Oct. 2 against Planned Parenthood in its outrageous civil lawsuit seeking millions from Sandra. That trial in San Francisco may go six weeks. Costs will soar.

Thanks to friends like you, we're defending Sandra in one of the most important pro-life cases in America today. But we're also battling the Southern Poverty Law Center, American Civil Liberties Union, the city of Boston and others in cases critical to our freedom as believers.

But we can only do all this with your help.

That's why I ask for your generous support now of 25, 50, 100 or more dollars. Your support will make a huge difference for Sandra and our work to defend freedom.

Please prayerfully consider a generous gift now to help us meet the cost of defending this brave pro-life grandmother!

God bless you for standing with us in defending Sandra and helping us fight our many other legal battles on behalf of life, liberty and freedom!

For life and liberty,
