It's time to reopen America!

Restaurants are filing bankruptcy. Too many previously solvent hairdressers, barber shops and Main Street America stores have already shuttered permanently. Produce farmers are having to plow perfectly good crops back into the dirt. Dairy farmers are being forced to dump their milk products. Unemployment, and the desperation that inevitably accompanies it, is skyrocketing.

Rogue governors and other tyrannical officials intent upon disregarding the Constitution and the law are killing America with many unreasonable restrictions.

President Trump has called for the reopening of America. And because President Trump understands our Constitution and the limits it places on our government, he did not mandate either the shut down or the reopening.

Instead of taking the "Big Government," tyrannical approach, President Trump wisely left reopening decisions to the governors of each state. But so far, many governors are largely ignoring calls to reopen America.

In fact, it seems that some of these governors are enjoying their windfall powers so much that some are even trying to extend the shut down for months. And it's not just government officials. In the case of Microsoft creator, mandatory vaccine promoter and implantable chip advocate Bill Gates, that forced closure is being recommended for an insane 18 months!

Perhaps Bill Gates and the governors choosing to follow him instead of the Constitution are wealthy enough not to work for a year and a half of their lives. The rest of America is not.

A recent poll of business owners, conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, shows that more than 40% of business owners won't make it even two more weeks.

The fact is, we can't wait much longer. And we certainly don't have 18 months.

The repercussions of this shutdown have been devastating. While the entire world has only experienced 164,000 deaths due to COVID-19 (less than half of the number of people normally lost to the flu every year), the unintended economic impact of shutting down costs far more damage and even more lives.

• Food pantries are nearly empty, and many have closed.

• Mental health hotlines have seen a staggering 891% increase in calls.

The U.S. Surgeon General, along with most of the world's scientific authorities, have now completely discarded the egregiously flawed Bill Gates models that formed the basis of these restrictions.

An Israeli study performed by Professor Yitzhak Ben Israel of Tel Aviv University shows that the COVID-19 virus spreads the exact same way as the flu, over the exact same amount of time, regardless of whether an affected area of the world "shuts down" or not.

He found that in 8 weeks, the virus fizzles out, with or without forced social distancing.  When asked his opinion on the mass shutdown orders, "I think it's mass hysteria. I have no other way to describe it", said Professor Ben Israel.

The data and the doomsday predictions were wrong.  Instead of killing people with physical symptoms, the lockdowns are killing our economy which racks up a death toll of its own - from suicide, from domestic violence, from child abuse, and many other ways.

America needs to re-open NOW before we lose even one more business, one more livelihood or one more life to panic-driven shutdowns.
