The Miss America pageant organization has stripped our client, Miss North Florida, Kayleigh Bush, of her crown and title because Kayleigh refused to agree that boys can be girls.
Not only is the Miss America pageant’s new rule unscientific and irrational, it’s also in violation of Florida law.

When Kayleigh entered and won the Miss North Florida competition, there was no gender-bending redefining of “female” to include boys or men. But that soon changed as Kayleigh progressed to the Miss Florida competition, a subsidiary of the Miss America pageant.
To keep her crown and compete in the Miss Florida competition, the Miss America organization demanded Kayleigh agree that men can become women and thus compete against biological males who had undergone mutilating surgery, including a “vaginoplasty” surgery, before the age of 14.
“Vaginoplasty” is the industry’s euphemism for the ancient practice of creating eunuchs — the surgical removal of a young male’s entire genitalia.
Throughout history, warmongers would remove the gonads and phalluses of young boys captured in war. Their manhood fully removed, the boys were made into slaves. In ancient Assyria, China, Greece, Rome, and the more recent Ottoman Empire, their entire physical manhood was removed to ensure docility among the conquered male slaves. As a rule, these eunuchs were used to guard a king or ruler’s harems, aka human sex trafficking victims.
While the practice of creating eunuchs dates back to Old Testament times, nowhere throughout history were these mutilated males ever considered women.
What the Miss America pageant demands is not only irrational, but it is unscientific and in violation of Florida law — from the very state Kayleigh represents in the pageant.
Help us FIGHT for WOMEN by supporting our legal fund today.
Anyone who took basic biology understands there are only two sexes, male and female, and those sexes — which science has long ago proven are formed at conception — are immutable.
Florida law confirms this basic biology in Title XXXIII 553.865, which states:
“Female means a person belonging, at birth, to the biological sex which has the specific reproductive role of producing eggs,” and
“Male means a person belonging, at birth, to the biological sex which has the specific reproductive role of producing sperm.”
But the Miss Florida and Miss America organizations don’t care about basic biology or Florida law. They are too busy appeasing the radical LGBTQ agenda of men seeking to destroy the entire institution of womanhood — an odd position for a group that was established to honor women.
When Kayleigh was presented with the contract, she requested removal of the offending language to keep from violating her religious beliefs and over concern for the safety of minor boys.
Because the eligibility age for certain pageants is 14-18 years of age, Kayleigh’s strongest objection is that the pageant is now openly incentivizing and promoting dangerous surgeries that promote grievous harm to the health and safety of minor boys — and revive an ancient evil.
After the Miss Florida Scholarship Program Inc. and the Miss America Organization (MAO) refused and denied Kayleigh’s appeals, Liberty Counsel sent a demand letter on her behalf requesting they reconsider the contract language and restore her title so she can compete in the Miss Florida competition scheduled for June 25-28, 2025.
However, both organizations have twice refused Liberty Counsel’s request to revise the contract.
In short, Miss Florida Inc. is in apparent breach of its original agreement with Kayleigh over terms that are void under Florida law and public policy.
Moreover, the contract’s “female” definition also ignores current, enforceable Florida law prohibiting sterilization and castration of minors under the guise of so-called “sex-reassignment prescriptions or procedures.”
A contract that violates a provision of the Florida Constitution or a Florida statute is void and illegal and will not be enforced in Florida courts.
Liberty Counsel is fighting to not only restore Kayleigh’s rightful Miss NWFL crown, but also to stop these reprehensible gender-bending contracts once and for all.
Girls should not be losing their Miss America titles to LGBTQ MEN!
