Good news! Two more GOP Senate moderates announced they’ll vote against prolonging the baseless impeachment trial of President Donald Trump by bringing in more witnesses.

But that hasn’t stopped the New York Times—or House Democrats. Fresh allegations surfaced in the Times today from John Bolton’s unpublished book. It’s yet another manipulative, coordinated attempt to coerce senators into expanding the lawless witch hunt.

And last night Speaker Nancy Pelosi lashed out, charging the Senate can’t acquit the president without hearing from the witnesses Democrats want—the ones they neglected to pursue in the House. Facing defeat under the law, the radicals are now doubling down on their own lawlessness!

But in fact, the lawful Senate acquittal of the president is now expected today or tomorrow.

Two wavering Senate GOP moderates whom friends like you faxed this week issued welcome announcements late Thursday and early today.

Both Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) now say they’ll vote to reject Democrat efforts to extend their sham impeachment trial with more witnesses and documents.

That makes it likely the Senate will vote to reject witnesses later today. If it does, a vote to acquit President Trump, possibly Saturday, will be a certainty.

In making their announcements, both Alexander and Murkowski revealed disgust at the Democrats' transparently partisan impeachment process.

"If this shallow, hurried and wholly partisan impeachment were to succeed," Alexander tweeted late yesterday, "it would rip the country apart, pouring gasoline on the fire of cultural divisions that already exist."

On cue, an angry Speaker Pelosi displayed yet more partisanship last night, declaring that Trump "cannot be acquitted" without more witnesses.

But during the last two weeks of the trial, House Democrat impeachment managers said 30 times that their evidence is "overwhelming." They claimed some 33 times that they have made their case.

Now they’re desperate for more witnesses and documents!

The truth is that this is a sham impeachment designed to end President Trump's presidency and throw him off the 2020 ballot.

That's why it's time to end this farce NOW. And that is what, I pray, will happen either late tonight or sometime tomorrow.
