Pro-life citizens, the majority of which are teenagers and young adults, have spent many hours traveling on buses from all across the nation to participate in the march. Student members of Carmel Teens for Life, a pro-life high school club in Indiana represented by Liberty Counsel, will be among the participants. School administrators at Carmel High School previously censored and removed a poster display created by club members on the basis of another student’s complaint that it was “offensive.”

“This is an unprecedented day in history as Vice President Pence takes a public stand for the sanctity of life by participating in today’s March for Life,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel. “I am also proud of the many young people, such as our clients in the Carmel Teens for Life Club, who travelled hours on buses and slept on hotel lobby floors to be a part of this event. This is a new day with the hope of reversing the Roe v. Wade abortion decision and making the womb a safe place in America again,” said Staver.
