Sacramento, CA – Mathew Staver was appointed to the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC) Board of Directors. The NHCLC is the nation’s largest Christian Hispanic organization and is also known as the Hispanic Evangelical Association. The NHCLC is unifying, serving, and representing the Hispanic born-again community through 34,200 member churches and 16 million constituents, by reconciling the vertical and horizontal of the Christian message through the “7 Directives,” which are Life, Healthy Families, The Great Commission, Stewardship, Youth, Education, and Justice.

Staver serves as Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, which has offices in Florida, Virginia, Texas, and Washington, D.C., and hundreds of affiliate attorneys. Staver holds Bachelor, Master, and Juris Doctorate degrees and an honorary Doctorate of Law and Doctorate of Divinity. He has argued two landmark cases before the United States Supreme Court as lead counsel and written numerous briefs before the High Court. Staver has more than 210 published legal opinions, eleven books, and hundreds of popular articles.
Staver also serves on other boards, including Chairman of Liberty Counsel Action, Chairman of Freedom Federation, National House of Hope, and the Timothy Plan. Staver is the Dean and Professor of Law at Liberty University School of Law. He has the highest AV rating given to attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell and is board certified in Appellate Practice. Staver is one of the nation’s preeminent constitutional litigation and appellate attorneys.
