Three-Star Lieutenant General Tom McInerney, retired from the Air Force in 1994 after serving 35 years in the military. General Tom McInerney was a forward air controller and fighter pilot during the Vietnam War and had flown more than 400 combat missions during his four tours of duty. General McInerney served overseas in NATO, Pacific Air Forces and as commander of 11th Air Force in Alaska. General McInerney’s last active-duty assignment was as assistant vice chief of staff, which is third in command, of the U.S. Air Force. He is now founder and chairman of a cyber company.
General McInerney is no longer active duty in the military. But he has never retired his oath to uphold the Constitution.
