No One Person Should Control Our Involvement in WHO

Congress has long abdicated its constitutional authority to set spending and govern treaties. Both chambers need to wake up and take these responsibilities seriously. If they squander this moment, America will become a ticking time bomb awaiting the next president to put us back under the WHO with its growing attacks on our freedom.
 
Both HR 600 and HR 401 will block all funds to the World Health Organization (WHO) without future congressional approval. Congress needs to add this language to the March continuing resolution (CR) budget, which will only need the approval of a majority in the Senate to pass.

In addition, HR 54 will repeal the 1948 Joint Resolution that gave President Truman the authority for the United States to join the WHO. And finally, S 92 demands that future WHO agreements on a pandemic must have at least 2/3 approval of the Senate, which should be expanded to all agreements.

Each of these bills plays a critical role in permanently dismantling the globalist agenda. But if we do not act now, we risk that a single person could place us back under the WHO’s power with but a moment’s notice.

Dear Member of Congress,

As a U.S. voter, I am writing to respectfully urge you to VOTE YES on HR 600 and HR 401. These bills will block all funds to the WHO without future congressional approval. Congress needs to add this language into the March CR budget, which will only need the approval of a majority in the U.S. Senate to pass and regain control over globalist efforts to deny our freedoms.

In addition, HR 54 will repeal the 1948 Joint Resolution that gave President Truman the authority for the United States to join the WHO. And finally, S 92 demands that future WHO agreements on a pandemic must have at least 2/3 approval of the Senate, which should be expanded to all agreements. These two bills will restore authority and power back to Congress that was abdicated to the executive branch.  

No one person should have the power to decide treaties and funding with the stroke of a pen. This should be under the control of Congress. Americans must not be put under ANY international law, treaty, or device without the oversight and consent of our duly elected representatives in Congress.
