Demand that the Senate Stop the Madness! Acquit President Trump!

House Democrats have sent articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the U.S. Senate and the matter is now in the Senate's hands. They are trying to reverse the 2016 election and the votes of some 63 million Americans.

Since the Russia investigation did not pan out the way they had hoped, radical Democrats have invented the so-called Ukraine “quid pro quo” to impeach the president and drive him from office.

But the president did nothing wrong—let alone criminal. Democrats have not brought a shred of evidence that proves impeachable actions took place and now Senate Democrats are demanding more witnesses to prove their charges.

And some Republican senators may side with the Democrats! Senators Susan Collins, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Cory Gardner and Lamar Alexander may vote to expand this witch hunt with more so-called witnesses and documents.

A Personal Petition: Stop the Madness! Acquit President Trump!

Dear Senator,

The impeachment of President Trump is a partisan assault that alleges non-crimes for which no evidence exists—and which, in any case, do not rise to the level of impeachable offenses under the Constitution.

House Democrats had every opportunity to bring witnesses to make their case. They did not. Instead, they ignored the clear evidence presented:

  • The transcript of the president’s July 25, 2019 call with Ukraine’s president
  • Ambassador Sondland's clear and unequivocal statement that no one on planet earth told him about a "quid pro quo."
  • Ukrainian President Zelensky’s denial that he was pressured to mount any investigations

But now, after House Democrats had their chance, Senate Democrats want to bring in additional alleged witnesses. I urge you, as a citizen, to vote against any motion calling for additional witness testimony.

Do not aid and abet this radical witch hunt!  I respectfully ask you to vote, instead, to stop the madness, reject adding witnesses, and vote to acquit President Trump!

Sincerely,
