Liberty Counsel Approves New Nonpartisan Voter Guides

Jan 18, 2008

We have recently approved and posted new voter guides on our website from WallBuilders. David Barton is the founder of WallBuilders, an organization that presents America's forgotten history with an emphasis on the moral, religious, and constitutional foundation on which America was built.

These voter guides give the positions of presidential candidates on a wide variety of issues: A human life amendment, traditional marriage, gun rights, business freedom, taxes, gay pride, the Iraq war and education. The voter guides are approved for distribution by everyone, including churches and nonprofit organizations.

Other voter guides and resource materials regarding political activity of pastors, churches and nonprofit organizations are also on our special voter information page. You can access all of these resources for free, just click on the "2008 Voter Guides" picture at www.LC.org.

We are still offering our updated DVD entitled "Pastors Patriots Action. In the included DVD, Mathew Staver addresses what pastors and church leaders can and cannot do regarding supporting candidates, legislation and otherwise being involved in important issues facing this Nation.

This DVD will empower pastors to speak out on the important issues facing America. Pastors can get a free copy of this DVD by calling 800-671-1776. We have given away thousands of copies to pastors.

We also need your financial support to provide thousands more of these DVDs to pastors at no cost. You can donate online at www.LC.org (click the "Donate" button or add a donation when you order your copy of the DVD.)

U.S. Department of Justice to Hold Religious Freedom Seminar

A regional seminar on Federal Enforcement of Laws Protecting Religious Freedom will be held in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, January 30, 2008.
