30 Under 30 National Black Leaders

Feb 7, 2019

In celebration of Black History Month, the Black Conservative Federation has announced that Liberty Counsel’s Director of Public Policy, Jonathan Alexandre, has been selected as one of the top 30 national black leaders under the age of 30.

A graduate of Liberty University School of Law, Alexandre consults with and advises law and policy makers at the federal, state, and local levels across the nation. He was formerly the Assistant General Counsel and Public Policy Coordinator for the Massachusetts Family Institute in Boston and developed the Massachusetts Attorney Resource Council, a network of pro-family Massachusetts attorneys. Alexandre worked for the Jerusalem Center of Public Affairs in Jerusalem, Israel as a Scholar in Residence, and the United States Army's Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School. He has been a political lobbyist for two national organizations and has spoken at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

The Black Conservative Federation is a millennial-aligned organization founded to expand the black conservative movement and recognize those who have influenced the nation's increasing movement.

Jonathan Alexandre said, “I am honored that our work to advance the sanctity of life and religious liberty in the nation’s capital has connected me to such brilliant and accomplished leaders. I have an abiding faith in the greatness of America. And since freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction, this cast of young leaders should be an encouragement to persevere in promoting righteousness in politics and never tire of doing what is right.”

“I appreciate Jonathan Alexandre’s leadership on Capitol Hill. This national recognition is well-deserved. Jonathan is one of the nation’s most influential black conservatives under the age of 30,” said  Mat Staver. “This honor for Jonathan Alexandre is fitting during Black History Month, when we take opportunities to recognize black Americans from history who have helped shape this nation into a great country,” said Staver.
