This Docket Will Reshape History. . .

Although we are not even 90 days into this new year, Liberty Counsel already filed FOUR briefs before the U.S. Supreme Court. These are huge cases that can reshape the course of history.

These Supreme Court cases are in addition to our many other cases. We need your help to keep winning. 

We never charge our clients because we know that few could afford to take a case all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. These cases affect not only our clients but the rights of every American.

While there are more briefs on additional cases to be filed soon, four of the cases before the Supreme Court include the following: 

  • Overturning Christian counseling bans.

Chiles v. Salazar: The State of Colorado is actively violating the rights of parents and minors by banning Christian change counseling for people struggling with unwanted desires, behaviors, and gender confusion. Liberty Counsel has already managed to overturn Christian counseling bans in 23 cities and states. This case could end ALL the 87 remaining counseling bans nationwide.

  • Ending taxpayer-funded abortions.

Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic. The multibillion-dollar international abortion cartel known as Planned Parenthood is fighting to force taxpayers to fund its wholesale child butchering. We’re fighting to stop Planned Parenthood from ever again receiving one red cent of taxpayer dollars. Last year, Planned Parenthood raked in more than 600 million dollars from the federal government alone. 

  • Stopping state-based discrimination against Christian schools.

Oklahoma Statewide Charter School Board v. Drummond. Oklahoma is blatantly discriminating against Christian charter-based schools based solely on religion. We’re fighting to level the playing field. 

  • Defending parental rights against LGBTQ indoctrination.

Mahmoud v. Taylor. Public schools in Montgomery County, Maryland, are forcing children to undergo LGBTQ indoctrination, stripping parents of their right to object and withdraw their children from these “mandatory” LGBTQ exercises. At least 22 books indoctrinate children with extreme LBGTQ propaganda as young as 3 years old! We’re fighting to restore parental rights and protect children. 

Fund the fight for Life, Liberty, and the Natural Family!

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned in June 2022, we have filed many briefs at State Supreme Courts in defense of pro-life laws. The case is Georgia is another big win: 

  • Upholding state rights to ban abortion.

State of Georgia v. SisterSong Women of Color. SisterSong believes that killing unborn children is a “human right.” Now SisterSong is suing to overturn the state’s rights to limit or ban abortion. The Georgia Supreme Court recently allowed in a 6-1 decision the state’s “Heartbeat law” to go into effect. 

We are fighting to stop mail-order murder, where abortion providers mail abortion pills into states that ban or restrict abortion. One abortion clinic in New York is mailing more than 10,000 pills per month!

  • Stopping mail-order murder.

Missouri, Kansas, and Idaho v. USDA and HHS. Out-of-state abortionists are targeting pro-life states, mailing illegal abortion drugs to patients they have never met or examined in person. While these doctors may think they are making a political statement, they are actually violating the law and endangering women. We’re fighting to end mail-order murder once and for all.

We have many more cases pending in appeals courts nationwide, which are on a track toward the High Court, like our case defending Kim Davis. Kim’s case will decide if a person can be sued for using their religious freedom rights, and it may also overturn the Obergefell marriage opinion. 

Another case on appeal that could end up at the High Court is Liberty University. This case will have a huge impact on religious freedom.  

We have hundreds more cases working their way through the courts.  

In our 36-year history, we have won 37 cases we have argued or briefed before the U.S. Supreme Court and thousands upon thousands of wins in state courts and federal courts of appeals.
