I just returned from Washington, D.C., where I had the honor of participating in the very first meeting of the White House Faith Office. This 3½-hour meeting was absolutely amazing! President Donald Trump is so committed to religious freedom that he established this Faith Office in the West Wing of the White House.
It was an honor and pleasure to be able to discuss Liberty Counsel’s ministry, our work advancing religious freedom in America and around the world, and to offer advice and meet other handpicked faith leaders.
Help us guide religious freedom policy for generations to come with your special gift today. A special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT.
I just returned from one of the most amazing meetings I have ever attended. What I thought would be a short briefing turned into a 3½-hour meeting of the first-ever briefing of the White House Faith Office. I was so encouraged. I cannot begin to adequately share the highlights.
This Faith Office will coordinate with every aspect of the federal government and directly with President Trump.
Through this Faith Office, we will have open doors with the Trump administration to present faith-friendly policies. Each agency will have a Faith Director. The Faith Director for the Department of Education shared how President Trump will implement state and local control and parental choice in education.
Attorney General Pam Bondi and one of the members of her Task Force expressed their commitment to advance our values.
We had praise and worship and prayer that sounded more like a revival. What a difference — and the best is yet to come. We are stakeholders in our country’s future. What an amazing time to be alive!
As you likely already know, Liberty Counsel has long been the tip of the spear in fighting for religious freedom. For 36 years, our work has advanced the right to life, religious freedom, and the natural family.
We’ve won 37 cases we argued or briefed before the U.S. Supreme Court, including the historic 9-0 win in Shurtleff v. Boston. Our Shurtleff case was a major win for religious freedom and freedom of speech. The case, combined with the Coach Kennedy case, brought down the so-called “Lemon Test,” which was misused to silence Christians and censor religious symbols as well as religious speech and expression for over 51 years
But despite our monumental wins before the Supreme Court, and thousands of other wins in state and federal courts of appeals, religious liberty remains under attack.
School systems continue to violate parental religious freedom rights by forcing children to participate in LGBTQ indoctrination, often without the parent’s knowledge. We just filed a brief at the Supreme Court.
School districts and local governments continue to discriminate against religious institutions, banning after-school Bible clubs, and blocking churches from purchasing property simply because they are Christian. Some judges are unlawfully banning parents from taking their own child to church.
The last few days our legal teams were in court in Maine and California.
Cities and states continue to ban Christian change counseling, forbidding clients from seeking and receiving Christian change counseling simply because the LGBTQ abhors the Bible. Last week, the Supreme Court agreed to hear a case where Colorado banned Christian change counsel. We are preparing our brief to the Supreme Court.
Federal government agencies, including the U.S. Department of Defense, the Department of Education, and many more, continue to discriminate against religious employees. We are also still working with service members.
Our attorneys are drafting documents and are in court every week protecting our precious religious freedom. To have a voice at the table in the highest office in the land and the most powerful office in the world is an exceptional honor and tribute to the good work we have done protecting every American’s right to religious freedom. I had the honor of speaking at the first meeting of the Faith Office about religious freedom of pastors and churches.
Being in the White House yesterday was an honor we don’t take lightly at Liberty Counsel. Last week, two of our team members were at the White House discussing policy proposals. And yesterday, another one of our team members who heads up our Faith & Liberty ministry was in a separate meeting at the White House at the same time as my meeting. The work we do today will have lasting impact for generations.
And it’s all because of YOU, the faithful Liberty Counsel supporter. Please helped us continue our fight for freedom in courtrooms across America and in the highest offices of the United States government with your gift today. Thanks to a generous supporter, every donation made today — even recurring monthly gifts will be DOUBLED by a special Challenge Grant. Please, give generously today.

P.S. You’re invited! Please join us in celebrating 36 years defending religious freedom at our New Birth of Freedom Gala on April 5 in Orlando, Florida. Our keynote speaker is Congressman Byron Donalds, and his wife, Erika Donalds. We will honor a J6 political prisoner who spent four months in solitary confinement. Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, who prayed at President Trump’s inauguration, will pray at the Gala. And we have many more exciting guests as we celebrate “A New Birth of Freedom.”
Come get warm in the Florida sunshine as we celebrate life, religious liberty, and the natural family! See LC.org/Gala2025 for details.
