The issue regarding former library assistant Brenda Biesterfeld is gaining national attention. As we explained in a Liberty Alert last week, she was fired after reporting a Lindsay County library patron to the police for viewing child pornography. Since then, there has been an outpouring of support from the community, numerous media appearances and even an award from the Lindsay City Council. Lindsay City Councilwoman Suzi Picaso said that Biesterfeld should be applauded for her actions. However, she still has not been rehired.
Mat Staver is scheduled to talk about the library issue at 10:15 a.m. tomorrow on the national television program "America's Newsroom" which is aired on the Fox News Channel. The show's co-hosts are Megyn Kelly and Bill Hemmer.
More information about this program is online at www.foxnews.com/americasnewsroom. You will be able to send your email comments after the show to: [email protected].
