Finding and promoting local conservative events is now made easy with the growth of the Freedom Federation’s Social FF 2.0 (FF Social 2.0) social networking, events, and blogging site. Now individuals and organizations that share common core values can create, promote, search and sign up for events in the FF Social 2.0 networking site at www.FreedomFederation.org. FF Social 2.0 also has a mobile platform which can be accessed at the same website.

Using this technology, anyone can type in a city, state or zip code or use the GPS mobile option, select a distance from that location, and a category or categories of interest. The site will then show every registered meeting occurring in that parameter within a specified date range. The user can choose from categories such as Education, Marriage and Family, Pro-Life, Public Policy, Economic Freedom, Prayer, Judiciary and more. You can learn about the meeting, register, be reminded of the upcoming meeting, and then have a GPS map to the meeting.

Individuals interested in participating in local events or promoting their own can gain free access to the site’s resources by setting up a free profile at www.FreedomFederation.org. Users of the site can access a summary of each event including the location and ticket information. For additional details of the event, users are encouraged to contact the organizers directly.

Organizations wishing to boost awareness of their events can set up groups, add events, and send out invitations. The events may be sponsored by a variety of organizations that have joined as a Friend or a Member of the Freedom Federation.
