Criminal Charges Against Planned Parenthood?

Nov 15, 2017

Attorney General Jeff Sessions testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday that Planned Parenthood and organ procurement companies could be criminally charged for the illegal sale of aborted baby body parts upon completion of an FBI investigation.

Rep. Trent Franks referenced a report that the FBI had asked to view unredacted documents obtained by the Senate Judiciary Committee’s year-long investigation. That investigation was initiated by undercover videos released in 2015 by the Center for Medical Progress.

Liberty Counsel represents Sandra Merritt, one of the two journalists with the Center for Medical Progress, whose undercover work exposed Planned Parenthood’s barbaric practices of harvesting organs from aborted babies and selling them to organ procurement organizations, including StemExpress, LLC, Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc. and Novogenix Laboratories, LLC., for extreme profit. The videos show Planned Parenthood officials trafficking body parts of aborted babies, flippantly negotiating prices and abortion methods to sell aborted baby hearts, lungs, livers and brains.

The Senate Judiciary Committee and the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives, which conducted a similar investigation, both referred Planned Parenthood and the organ procurement companies to the Department of Justice for criminal investigation and prosecution.

Based on its findings, the Judiciary Committee’s Majority Staff Report concluded that Planned Parenthood’s partners in the biomedical procurement industry paid the abortion chain’s affiliates for the body parts of aborted babies “and then sold the fetal tissue to their respective customers at substantially higher prices than their documented costs.”
