Last night Mat Staver was a guest on the CNN Headline News television program Issues with host Jane Velez-Mitchell. The program focused on the recent protests against churches that promoted the California marriage amendment (Prop. 8).

Former San Francisco 49er quarterback Steve Young was scheduled to take the opposing viewpoint, but we were informed that he was cancelled before the show was taped. In an odd turn of events, CNN evidently located blogger Steve Young as a replacement.
