Galatians 5:1 says, “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery."
In 2021, Liberty Counsel began leading the way in the fight against the unconstitutional shot mandates across America.
As a result, we were inundated with HUNDREDS of phone calls, emails and legal help request forms EVERY DAY from desperate people whose careers and education were threatened if they didn’t get the COVID shot. Military service members, health care workers, federal contractors, students and thousands of others needed our help with religious exemption requests because they could not violate their sincerely held religious convictions and take an injection associated with aborted fetal cells.

We also started daily conference calls to provide legal information and hope to hundreds of people per day. We even had to hire more staff to handle the huge volume. We sent demand letters and filed strategic lawsuits to stop this unlawful overreach and have helped thousands of individuals as a result.
For example, this year we WON a historic, first-of-its-kind class action settlement against a private employer, NorthShore University HealthSystem, on behalf of more than 500 health care workers who were unlawfully discriminated against and denied religious exemptions from the COVID shot mandate. NorthShore had to pay $10,337,500 to compensate these health care employees and restore their positions after firing them for denying exemptions based on their religious beliefs. NorthShore also changed its unlawful “no religious accommodations” policy to make it consistent with the law and to provide religious accommodations in every position across its numerous facilities.
We also WON class action relief and a classwide preliminary injunction on behalf of all U.S. Marines who were denied religious accommodations from the COVID shots. Then in January 2023, we will return to the U.S. District Court of Florida seeking to convert the classwide preliminary injunction to a permanent injunction.
We filed a lawsuit against Artis-Naples (Naples Philharmonic), a visual and performing arts nonprofit organization in Southwest Florida, for firing three musicians who have sincere religious objections to the organization’s COVID-19 shot mandate. The employees—a clarinet, a violin and a viola player—are seeking reinstatement to their tenured jobs and compensatory and punitive damages against Artis-Naples for its willful and flagrant violation of the law. The three plaintiffs are highly skilled and educated and have played in that orchestra for a combined 82 years.
As always, our legal services are free and underwritten by generous financial partners. And now … your generosity can have an even greater influence!
Praise God that generous donors have provided a $1,000,000 Year-End Challenge Grant. That means that every financial gift to Liberty Counsel between now and the end of the year will be effectively DOUBLED.
Every dollar you donate between now and December 31 will be effectively DOUBLED by the generosity of this special challenge. Your gift of $50 will become $100; $250 will be doubled in impact to $500; $1,000 expands to $2,000 of impact and so forth.
There are many ways you can give:
It is very important that Liberty Counsel meet the full goal of the $1,000,000 YEAR-END CHALLENGE GRANT to continue the fight for freedom.
