First, he angered abortion advocates by targeting Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger for her leading role in the American eugenics movement.

Now Justice Clarence Thomas has done it again, issuing another statement that has abortion backers wondering if and when “Roe will go.”

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas panicked abortion backers last week when he called for abandoning “demonstrably erroneous” precedent.

His call puts the future of the horrific Roe v. Wade abortion ruling in doubt.

And the thoughts contained in his recent Supreme Court concurring opinion came at a time when momentum is growing nationwide to overturn the erroneous 1973 High Court ruling.

Roe opened the floodgates for abortion-on-demand in America. It effectively gave our nation one of the world’s most permissive abortion laws. And one without any constitutional basis.

Which is why Roe v. Wade is so ripe for reversal. And why Justice Thomas’ words so rattled abortion supporters:

"When faced with a demonstrably erroneous precedent, my rule is simple: We should not follow it," Thomas wrote.

Justice Thomas also signaled to the lower courts that they, too, should ignore faulty precedents.

Justice Thomas’ concurring opinion is the rumbling of a coming legal and societal earthquake.  As one pro-abortion attorney exclaimed after Thomas issued his opinion, “we are seeing a coordinated and relentless attack on Roe v. Wade across the country."

It is my firm belief—and my heart's continual prayer—that we will see the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade. God placed this conviction in my heart several years ago. It will happen, but we must fight and be prepared.
