This short account takes you back to 2015 and the undercover investigation that exposed Planned Parenthood’s dirty secret and shook the abortion giant. . . 

A string of stunning undercover videos shocked and angered Americans in 2015 by revealing Planned Parenthood’s gruesome trade in human organs from aborted babies.

David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt led a two-and-a-half-year “sting” operation in which they posed as buyers for BioMax, a fictitious human tissue procurement firm.

That cover story allowed Daleiden and Merritt to burrow deep inside Planned Parenthood, gaining access to senior officials, meeting them at luncheons, inside abortion facilities and at abortion industry gatherings.

The unguarded and explosive remarks of top Planned Parenthood leaders captured on video reveal heartless disregard for unborn children.

+  +  Padding profits by harvesting humans

And they showcase a ready willingness to pad profits by harvesting and selling baby body parts to researchers – possibly in violation of federal law which makes the “sale or purchase of human fetal tissue” punishable by up to 10 years in prison or a fine of up to $500,000.

“We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver,” a Planned Parenthood abortionist told the undercover investigators at a business lunch.

Along with overseeing medical practice at Planned Parenthood’s 700 facilities nationwide, this abortionist also did abortions up to 24 weeks in Los Angeles. She explained, between bites of salad and sips of wine, how she alters her surgical technique to harvest intact organs.

“You’re just kind of cognizant of where you put your graspers, you try to intentionally go above and below the thorax ... I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact,” the abortion doctor says in the video.

The going price for human body parts ranges, she told the buyers, “anywhere from $30 to $100 [per specimen], depending on the facility and what’s involved.”

Disturbing revelations like that provoked public outrage and disgust, along with charges that Planned Parenthood was selling human tissue in violation of federal law. The videos shocked Americans and sparked legal action . . .

• At least two entities in California have been successfully prosecuted, forced to pay almost $8 million in penalties, and shuttered permanently in connection with their unlawful baby parts transactions.

• Several states and the federal government have moved to defund Planned Parenthood to varying degrees.

• And Congress conducted its own investigation resulting in the referral of Planned Parenthood to law enforcement agencies for criminal prosecution in connection with its illegal profiteering from aborted baby body parts.

Right now, the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating Planned Parenthood.
