Our staff prayed this morning with Sandra Merritt who called in from San Francisco where Planned Parenthood is suing her for millions in federal court.

It was 5:35 a.m. (her time) when Sandra joined the call. But it was wonderful to hear her and then to pray for her and for her Liberty Counsel attorney, Harry Mihet.

Because closing arguments in Planned Parenthood’s revenge trial seeking to crush and bankrupt Sandra went longer than scheduled yesterday, Harry will address the jury today around 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time (12:30 p.m. Eastern Time).

Please pray that truth will prevail—as Harry asks below in a special note he sent yesterday.

And please consider a gift as we reach the trial’s climax. Later today or tomorrow the jury will take the case and a verdict will come at any time after that.

TRIAL UPDATE: closing arguments are going slower than expected, and I will not deliver mine on behalf of Sandra Merritt until tomorrow (Wed) morning around 9:30 a.m. California time.

We did hear several hours of Planned Parenthood’s closing argument today, and it was very tough to stomach. They repeatedly called our clients all kinds of evil and they asked the San Francisco jury to award millions of dollars in *punitive* damages against them, “to punish and deter them” from ever exposing Planned Parenthood again.

And, as the number one reason for seeking punitive damages, they had the audacity to refer to Dr. Mary “Lamborghini-for-Livers” Gatter, and Dr. Deborah “Crush-Above-and-Crush-Below” Nucatola.

I’ve seen some really crazy things in the decade+ that I’ve been doing this work, but never have I seen such a brazen and shameful attempt to call evil good and good evil. But as tough as today was to stomach, never have I been more sure that this is a fight worth fighting, and that I’m not here by accident.

I really need your prayers tomorrow! [today, Wednesday] I am powerless to cut through this evil deception, unless the God of Truth does it through me.
