Wisconsin's Democrat governor, Tony Evers, has a problem with "Christmas." He renamed the state Christmas tree a "holiday tree."

That's "PC garbage," said Wisconsin's Senate Majority Leader. Actually, it's worse than that.

And one Wisconsin man interviewed by Fox News revealed why.

"A Christmas tree implies Christianity," this Wisconsin resident who reportedly values inclusiveness told a CBS outlet in Milwaukee.

And that is what's really behind the war on Christmas.

People who reject Christ can't stand it when Americans celebrate His birth. Which is why they try to turn it into something else . . . even ban it altogether.

The modern war on Christmas got its start over a century ago. When Communists took power in Russia, they feared the public outcry that would follow a complete ban on Christmas. So they began to slowly secularize the holiday—much like today.

Beloved Christmas carols underwent Leninist makeovers. One carol celebrating Christ’s birth was turned into a celebration of the 1917 Revolution with these lyrics:

“The joyous news has come which never was before. Long-awaited star of freedom lit the skies in October [the month of the Revolution]. Where formerly lived the kings . . . Lenin’s glory hovers.”

Today, the ACLU, atheist groups, and like-minded allies relentlessly work to secularize Christmas. Using strong-arm tactics, they intimidate communities, retail stores, government offices, and schools into stripping "Christ" from Christmas – and people of faith often feel powerless to resist their bullying.
