In California, home church is banned, pastors and congregants are slapped with restraining orders for attending church and churches are threatened with forced closures. Pastor Rob McCoy of Godspeak Calvary Chapel will soon be standing before the same local California judge who issued an appalling restraining order trying to shut Godspeak down. The restraining order was issued against Pastor McCoy and "up to 1,000 Does," and was designed to prevent anyone from setting foot on church grounds to hold worship. Violators would face criminal charges, $1000 per day fines and jail time.

Church continues to meet.

Sunday morning, when Pastor McCoy opened the church's doors for the normal flock of 500, he found FIVE TIMES that many people – 2,500 in all - lined up to be a part of the in-person worship which California's power-mad government had banned.

More churches told to cease.

Yesterday, our clients, Harvest Rock Church and Harvest International Ministry (with 162 churches in California), received a "cease and desist" letter. Our clients are under attack by the illegal, unconstitutional orders of California's self-crowned King Newsom.

Today, I will appear in federal court in our lawsuit against Gov. Newsom's illegal orders.

Let's consider what all these shutdowns, illegal bans on church services and outright anti-God measures mean for America and the nation's faithful… and what you and our team are doing to defend against these attacks.

There is a theme emerging across the nation. Chicago, Portland, Minneapolis, and more stand as shattered and charred remains. The destruction is a result of lawlessness.

But we know our God is the God of order, not chaos. He and He alone infused law into the created world.

Law, when used properly, is designed to protect life over death, liberty over tyranny and order over chaos.

The Declaration of Independence refers to the inalienable rights that come from our Creator. The Constitution is our compact that established America under the rule of law. But when God is excluded from our public institutions and our own personal lives (as California is attempting to accomplish), then chaos ensues.

When justice is foiled and a culture rejects God's wise order and law...

Death overtakes life – Americans are dying in the BLM and Antifa "protests," from the economic and psychological pressures of the lockdowns and from the dramatic increase in homicides in cities whose police have been betrayed and defunded. Churches are forced closed, but abortion mills continue to murder thousands of babies a day.

Tyranny overtakes liberty – Unconstitutional government edicts strip citizens of their basic rights. Businesses are closed, people dare not leave their houses and the unalienable right to worship God as one pleases -- whether in a church sanctuary or even in one's own home -- is denied.

Chaos overtakes order – In Chicago, bridges leading over the river to the city's core are being raised to slow the riots that have shattered nearly every downtown storefront. Meanwhile, cities like Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, and more continue to smolder in ruin. Portland residents continue to report they fear leaving their homes as Antifa and BLM rioters freely roam.

And from coast to coast, the ONE entity that can address this lawless chaos has been restricted or banned – the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
