Punished for Refusing to Tell Kids a Lie

Jun 4, 2021

A Virginia elementary school gym teacher has been suspended because he refuses to lie to the kids he dearly loves—he knows that boys are not girls and girls are not boys. And a Canadian father has been sentenced to six months in prison and $30,000 in fines for refusing to call his daughter a boy.

If HR 5 passes, this insanity will become law in America, and such punishments will become commonplace. Your church, your Christian school and even you and your family will be forced to accept and promote the entire LGBTQ agenda or face punishment.

We must stop HR 5 before it destroys our children and grandchildren!

Take a moment to fax the Senate. During June, sadly known as "Pride Month," there is extreme pressure on senators to pass the "Equality Act." Then, read on for an update. — Mat

A Loudoun County, Virginia, elementary school gym teacher was put on leave for refusing to tell his kids that boys can be girls and girls can be boys.

Physical education teacher Byron "Tanner" Cross addressed the school board May 27 regarding the district's proposed "Rights of Transgender and Gender-Expansive Students" policy.

"I love all of my students, but I will never lie to them regardless of the consequences," Cross told the board. "I'm a teacher, but I serve God first, and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it's against my religion. It's lying to a child, it's abuse to a child, and it's sinning against our God."

Cross went on to cite studies showing that many who take opposite sex hormones and undergo surgery to remove healthy body parts do not fully understand the consequences of their actions.

Cross cited a recent study detailing 30 young people who "felt led astray because of lack of pushback or how easy it was to make physical changes to their bodies." He said they are now trying to undo the damage they did to their bodies.

"It's not my intention to hurt anyone," Cross continued, "but there are certain truths that we must face when ready. We condemn school policies [that] would damage children [or] defile the holy image of God."

Two days later, Tanner Cross was suspended and put on indefinite leave ... because he refused to lie to his students.

Joe Biden is putting intense pressure on Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and other Democrats to pass HR 5 during this so-called "Pride Month." We must flood the Senate with faxes and petitions to demand they STOP the Equality Act!

Canadian father Rob Hoogland learned just how easily the LGBTQ lobby can highjack a family.

Hoogland says his daughter became confused after the local school system began teaching children that they could be a boy, girl, both or neither. Rob refused to call his daughter a boy, objected to giving her hormone-blocking drugs and opposite-sex hormones or pay for mutilating surgery. But the school pressed the issue to override the parents.

Then LGBTQ forces closed ranks, using the legal system to deny Rob his parental rights, as they effectively stole his daughter.

On April 13, after having spent weeks in jail, Rob Hoogland was sentenced to six months in prison and $30,000 in fines for refusing to tell his confused daughter a lie. His teen daughter's rush to remove her breasts and other body parts continues—against his will.

If HR 5 passes, generations of children will be caught in the LGBT and Q lobby's deadly game—and adults, including their own parents, will be punished if they intervene.

We CAN stop HR 5—we MUST stop HR 5. Even if you have already sent a fax or signed a petition, please do so again. We direct these citizen protests to impact critical votes and to build a firewall.

The Equality Act elevates sexual deviancy to a protected class against which no one will be able to object. As Cross and Hoogland found out, refusing to lie to children, or even using the biologically correct pronoun for one's own daughter can result in government persecution!

We must stop HR 5 before it destroys an entire generation of children. Fax the Senate NOW!

Our team in Washington, D.C., is in contact with members of the Senate to stop the Equality Act, even as we continue to defend pastors, churchgoers and pro-life warriors in courtrooms across America, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
