A New Mexico resident we’ll call “Ella” opted to get the COVID shot—although reluctantly. Ella, who has a pre-med degree, is a postmenopausal married woman with underlying health issues.

Still, she thought the COVID shot would help more than hurt. Thinking she had no options, Ella headed to Texas to get her first Moderna shot.

She had already had a serious case of COVID and, as an asthmatic, got through it by using Albuterol five times a day. What happened next should have given her pause, but … please read more of Ella's story below.

Ella didn’t want COVID again. The two-dose Moderna regimen was available a few hours away, so she took her first dose in February. Within 30 minutes, her left arm, where she had taken the shot, went numb. In only three hours, her left arm and neck were paralyzed, and her right arm was numb.

“My doctor only took one of my calls saying she was hearing this with too many patients, and I have to just wait it out,” Ella says. “I could not move my entire arm down to my fingers, nor my neck in any direction. This was the second time I thought I was going to die.”

Death came near, first, because of COVID; second, the Moderna shot. And the feelings in her body got even weirder.

“The sensation in my head and arms was like soda pop bubbles popping and never stopping,” she writes. “This lasted for three days.”

On and on, unusual symptoms manifested. Mental issues followed.

“I couldn’t think,” she writes. “I couldn’t follow a conversation on TV. My head felt like a fish bowl sloshing around.”

For a month, she didn't have the strength to stand on one of her legs. When it was time for the second shot, her doctor “demanded, yes,” Ella should get the shot. Back to Texas she went.

The second dose left Ella with multiple serious reactions.

“I felt sick for one week. Bed bound,” she writes. “My arm was just really painful but functional. The right knee was blue behind it, and I hopped to urgent care, which sent me to the hospital.”

Eventually she had no use of her leg. Then her vision was impaired. She sat in the dark because “the light hurt.” Ella suffered one symptom after another, all after having the Moderna shots.

“I felt I was dying, and this time I wanted to be allowed to. I made death arrangements just in case.”

After going on a “roller coaster ride to hell,” she feels “blessed now to be alive and not incapacitated anymore.” She said, “I was not living. I sat or lay there in the dark for three months.”

VAERS reports among the 545,337 total reactions as of July 30, there have been 5,236 heart attacks, 23,354 severe allergic reactions, 7,509 shingles cases, 14,251 permanent disabilities and much more.
