Parents and students are well acquainted with the high costs of attending a private university. It’s an expense moms and dads chip away at years before their kids leave the family nest.

So what happens when students’ hard work and dreams for their future careers are dashed—and by the very university they want to attend? Find out what transpired when frantic students and their parents reached out to us for help. I am proud these students stood their ground.

Loyola University in Chicago has more than 17,000 students. Despite its original Catholic heritage that holds to the sanctity of human life, this school trashed their students’ religious convictions. If they did not get the shots by August 6, they would be disenrolled and not even permitted on campus.

The students objected based on the fetal cell line/abortion connection since each of the three injections (Pfizer, Moderna, J&J) were either produced or tested with aborted fetal cell lines, and J&J also has aborted fetal cell lines in the deployed shots.

Being complicit directly or indirectly with abortion for these students is sinning against God. But this school didn’t care!

Hours before filing suit, Loyola reluctantly granted exemptions for our 11 students. But the students we did not represent were denied on August 6. These devastated students heard about Liberty Counsel and reached out to us.

Over the next few days with more demand letters on behalf of these students, Loyola granted exemptions for more than 40 students!

The school’s actions are despicable. They knew their mandate violated both state and federal law. Illinois has one of the best conscience protection laws in the country. Yet, unless their students obtained legal counsel, the administration tried to crush these students. We did not let them succeed!

Now we are receiving thank-you messages and calls. Many are crying with joy.

One wrote: “From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you and will pray for you & yours. We thought there was no hope after (name removed for privacy) was emailed just 24 hours ago with a denial of exemption. Your name came to us by chance ... literally trying to find some source to turn to on the internet. God led me to you! I do not know how else it could have happened. ... We will never forget!”

What is happening is insane and a serious threat to freedom. I believe, one of the most serious in our history. CNN's Don Lemon, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio and former Obama Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Juliette Kayyem, whose article was published in The Atlantic—owned by billionaire Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Apple founder Steve Jobs—have publicly said those who refuse the shots should be:

• Fired, and lose all income, health benefits and retirement.
• Banned from grocery stores.
• Refused restaurant dining, shopping, entertainment, gyms, etc.
• Expelled from schools.
• Placed on a no-fly list.
• And even prohibited from outdoor gatherings.

Just since August 6, we have begun working with over 1,000 employees of a major airline, from pilots to flight attendants to dock workers and baggage handlers. The number grows rapidly by the day. They have one thing in common—they worked through the pandemic without the shots, and now they face termination if they don’t get them.

VAERS reports among the 545,337 total reactions as of July 30, there have been 12,366 deaths, 5,236 heart attacks, 23,354 severe allergic reactions, 7,509 shingles cases, 14,251 permanent disabilities and much more.
