The Air Force is refusing to allow an airman to stay in the military without the COVID shots. But they also won’t allow him to leave. This psychological warfare is being waged against many of our brave heroes by our own government under the Biden mandates. Read on to learn more about the insanity we deal with every day. —Mat

Joshua* is a U.S. Air Force captain with years of service under his belt protecting America in a job so highly specialized that I cannot name it here for fear of exposing Joshua’s identity.
Joshua is a dedicated Christian who refused to take the COVID drugs “due to the use of abortion-derived fetal cell lines in the testing, development, and in some cases production of COVID-19 vaccines.”
Joshua filed his religious accommodation request in September 2021, shortly after Biden’s unlawful shot mandates were announced. Then, nothing happened. Joshua went to work every day, performing the same highly specialized duties that have earned him accolades during his years of service.
Finally, Joshua received word in January 2022 that his lawful and rightful request to have his constitutional and Religious Freedom Restoration Act rights accommodated had been denied. Joshua was given just five days to get the shot, file an appeal or be kicked out of the Air Force.
But there was a trick in that demand—to file an appeal, he must first file a Freedom of Information Request (FOIA) to obtain the records the military used to deny the request. Those FOIA requests take at the very least 30 days.
Joshua knew the fix was in. The Air Force had already denied every single one of the thousands upon thousands of religious accommodation requests (RARs) it had received and made it impossible for denied members to properly appeal their rightful claims. It became clear to Joshua that Joe Biden’s military does not want Christians in their ranks.
With just one year left on his contract, and unwilling to forfeit his faith or his overriding commitment to the Lord, Joshua filed for voluntary separation from the Air Force—and here is where the story takes a curious turn ...
The same Air Force that threatened to kick Joshua out for refusing to take the vax, is now refusing to allow him to leave the service—and they are still unlawfully demanding Joshua take that shot.
On March 28, 2022, Joshua was informed by the Air Force Personnel Command that his job was “critically manned,” meaning the military simply did not have enough qualified individuals to perform Joshua’s duties. Therefore, Joshua would not be allowed to leave the military. But without the shot, he also will not be allowed to continue in the service.

In other words, Joe Biden’s Department of Defense (DOD) has now determined that active-duty soldiers, sailors, airmen, guards and Marines have only one choice—take the shot. Period.
Joshua, like so many other service members we are representing in our massive class action lawsuit, Navy SEAL 1 v. Austin, is being frozen in time, unable to stay, but forbidden from leaving … and the daily pressure to take the jab continues.
The calls our staff members receive every day from these military service members are heartbreaking. Many of these brave men and women have fought and bled for our freedom all around the world, yet their constitutionally protected, federally codified right to religious freedom is being denied.
Many of these members are hanging on by a thread. They wake up every morning wondering if today will be the day they will be unjustly robbed of their livelihood, the benefits they have earned and even the homes they live in.
Some do not know how they will continue to house their families, put food on the table or provide the health insurance and benefits their families need to survive after years on a small military salary. And as I have written before, some have tragically chosen to end their lives rather than live with the disgrace of being discharged by the military around which they built their lives.
Liberty Counsel will fight to the very gates of hell, if we must, to defend the religious liberty of every American. But we need your help so we can continue helping these precious people.
