Service members are essentially being held hostage in foreign countries as punishment for refusing unlawful shot mandates. Although they have completed their tours of duty, they are not allowed to return home without the shots. Few Americans wear Fauci’s masks anymore. Even the military has dropped the mask mandates. And few are getting the shots for the first time now that what we have said from the beginning becomes more evident. But these facts have not deterred Biden from pushing his illegal shot mandate.

In December, Nigeria was forced to destroy more than 1 million doses of unused COVID shots, as more and more Africans refused to take them. Indonesia destroyed more than 9 million COVID doses last month. And just last week, Switzerland announced it would destroy more than 620,000 doses, citing a dramatic drop in demand.

But while citizens and countries around the world reject the COVID jabs, Biden keeps trying to force our military service members to take the shots.

I believe I know why, and it has nothing to do with health and everything to do with purging the military of the religious faithful.

The plaintiffs we represent in Navy SEAL 1 v. Austin are faithful religious adherents—whose deeply held convictions prevent them from taking Joe’s jabs. Our Constitution protects their religious liberty, and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act protects these military members.

My heart aches for our service members. Listen to their desperation:

“Please help me get out of Korea,” Yvonne* desperately cried when she was able to reach our offices. Yvonne is stationed in South Korea with the Army. She was supposed to head home to the U.S. on May 9, but because she refuses to take Joe’s jab, she has been informed that she will not be allowed to leave Korea.

“I’m being held hostage here [in Korea], separated from my family,” wrote Sheldon*, a U.S. Army soldier whose tour of duty should have ended nearly eight months ago.

But like Yvonne, Biden’s Department of Defense (DOD) will not allow Sheldon to go home. Sheldon writes that his 9-month-old daughter “barely knows him” due to this travesty. But Sheldon will not void God’s will for his life by taking Joe’s jab.

“The religious discrimination and hardship this has placed on my family is unreal,” he writes after being in Korea for 18 months. Sheldon’s wait could be much longer … unless he takes the shot—or we get relief for him and thousands of others. That is what we are fighting to do every day.

Federal Judge Steven Merryday issued an order last week in our case Navy SEAL 1 v. Austin. Merryday wants additional military plaintiffs who reside in or are deployed in Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk or Sarasota counties in Florida. The preliminary injunctions already issued in the case remain in effect.

The Navy plaintiffs are protected by the existing class-wide injunction issued in the Texas case. As soon as a Marine plaintiff is added in one of the Florida counties, Judge Merryday will rule on class certification for the Marines, and he appears favorable to class-wide injunction.

Judge Merryday wants to pause the Air Force case pending the ruling on class certification in separate Georgia and Ohio cases. The Army, Coast Guard, National Guard and Space Force cases will add more plaintiffs.

Liberty Counsel will not back down, retreat or abandon our objectives to see that religious beliefs are accommodated with respect to Biden's unlawful military shot mandate. And we will continue to press the claim that there is no FDA-approved COVID shot available.

Time is of the essence to obtain class-wide relief from the unlawful shot mandate for every branch of the military. Our honorable men and women are under tremendous pressure and are being terribly abused.

We will not leave anyone behind. We will not stop until every service member is protected and the Constitution and applicable federal laws are upheld. These honorable and brave service members fight for our freedom—we will continue to fight for theirs.

These men and women have risked life and limb, willing to sacrifice to defend our freedom. Will you help us help them?
