Sarah Survived to Tell You

Oct 3, 2022

Make no mistake, Democrats (and two Republicans) are still frantically working to push abortion bills through at the federal level. We must fight back against this!

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) named abortion a top priority. Kamala Harris says she “can’t wait” to break the filibuster and cast the deciding vote to ram unlimited abortion on demand down all Americans’ throats.

These bills are more radical than Roe v. Wade. Legislators in Congress are desperate to return America to the bloody reign of states being forced to allow abortion. Just one of these bills could erase all efforts in the courts and in state legislatures to protect innocent human life!

Today, you will hear from Sarah, an abortion survivor who knows all too well the physical and emotional toll of abortion. Thankfully, Sarah survived. But other children will not be so fortunate if the Senate federalizes abortion.

Please, protect children like Sarah by making YOUR voice heard today without delay. Fax as many in Congress as possible with your urgent demand to STOP THESE BILLS and let these children live. —Mat

Sarah says she always felt “an incredible loneliness and a knowledge that something was missing. I never felt whole.”

When Sarah was 12, her mother took her by the hand, looked her in the eyes and said, “Sarah, you are a twin. I aborted your twin brother and tried to abort you. Please know I did not know what I was doing, and I pray someday you are able to forgive me. I love you and need you to know that you are a welcome part of our family.”

“I felt the overwhelming pain of the knowledge that I should be dead,” Sarah says. “At that moment, I knew what I had been missing all my life and that I was called to something much greater than I had knowledge of.”

STOP abortion once and for all. Fax State and Federal Legislators NOW before they make abortion the law of the land!

Sarah forgave her parents, and then she and her mother began speaking at pro-life events in hopes of preventing anyone else from making the same heartbreaking “choice” Sarah’s mother had once made.

In a speech at the Congress for Life in Rome, Sarah said, “I am painfully aware that this is only possible because my twin brother took a scalpel for me, and I stand in his place and memory, giving him honor and a face.”

“As you look at me today, you realize that I am no different than you, yet I stand before you today a representative of the dead—a representative of the innocent lives who today may lose their lives. Who will speak for them? The words of Christ are clear — ‘What you have done to the least of these you have done unto me.’”

“You and I are called and commissioned to care for these little ones just as we would care for Jesus Himself. To walk away and say this is not my problem is to walk away from Jesus Himself.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, along with the powerful pro-abortion lobby in Congress, continue to consider ways to ram abortion down America’s throat. Numerous bills are being considered in the Senate. Schumer only needs a few more Republicans to join the Democrats on this crucial issue.

Each of these bills is far worse than Roe ever was!

The Women’s Health Protection Act, for instance, prevents city, county, state and federal government agencies from protecting the unborn by:

  • Forcing states to accept abortion on demand.

  • Preventing states from enacting abortion waiting periods.

  • Preventing states from banning abortifacient drugs.

  • Preventing states from banning telemedicine abortions.

Further, the bill would:

  • Prohibit ultrasounds prior to abortion.

  • Prohibit educational materials.

  • Ban states from requiring abortionists to have the medical credentials and licenses required of other surgeons.

Abortion is not a constitutional right. The U.S. Supreme Court correctly ruled that “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start.” However, if any of the abortion bills pass, abortion will be mandated by federal law.

We must fight to protect the lives of precious children. Send faxes right away to block abortion bills and give these children a chance to grow, laugh, play and learn. And sign a petition to encourage governors to Protect Life and End Abortion.

These bills are far outside the limited powers given to the federal government. No authority has been given to Congress to tell state legislatures and local governments how they will treat abortion providers.

This is a desperate, last-ditch attempt by radicals on Capitol Hill to keep murdering innocent children. If they are successful, many hard-fought state legislative limits on abortion providers will be erased. In addition, the victories approving three Justices under President Donald Trump will be rendered ineffective.

There is no time to delay. Send your urgent faxes to as many senators as possible to oppose every abortion bill.

We are on Capitol Hill fighting for life. When you support our ministry, you empower us to take on the greatest threats to our nation’s future.

In addition, Liberty Counsel continue to fight for life, the family and religious freedom in courtrooms across the nation.

We can only have this impact through the support of donors like you. We accept donations of stock, annuities, bank drafts and corporate gifts. Support us with a monthly donation or a one-time gift and DOUBLE the impact of your gift through a Challenge Grant today.

God cares deeply for these children even when they are still hidden from the rest of the world. Please join me in praying for and acting on behalf of vulnerable preborn children!
