We Were Brainwashed to Believe This Lie

Oct 5, 2022

Liberty Counsel is filing briefs defending the unborn in the Supreme Courts of Oklahoma, Kentucky and South Carolina this week. As you may recall, Liberty Counsel’s U.S. Supreme Court brief was cited in the recent Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade.

But abortion proponents are not giving up their quest to continue killing unborn babies. Now they are working to enact unlimited abortion laws in every state, and they are filing legal challenges against the pro-life laws passed by the states. Liberty Counsel is fighting to stop them.

Meanwhile, pro-abortion members of Congress are plotting to impose abortion on every state and territory through legislation. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is only two votes shy of eliminating the 60-vote filibuster rule and passing an abortion law.

Abortion in America was racist at its inception and remains racist to this day. Today, I’ll share some of the facts we are presenting in our briefs. —Mat

“It’s been over 20 years and I still think about it all the time. The guilt I feel is real,” says Chris*. “We were brainwashed into thinking something that is very wrong was okay.”

“It breaks my heart to see future generations being brainwashed like we were. I’m sorry. I’m sorry to a life I never knew. I’m sorry to a girl I never knew. I’m sorry to myself for missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime in exchange for a lifetime of regret."

Chris was fed a lie intended to “cleanse” “undesirables” through abortion.

“I have lived with this pain most of my life, the older I get the more the pain gets worse,” says Darius* of the abortion his former girlfriend chose. “I am telling this to help anybody thinking of an abortion to spare you from the pain it brings to your life.” Darius remains wracked by the grief of what they chose. “I think it about every day, I ask God every day to forgive me.”

Shandra* was told abortion was “no big deal” by a friend that had “many” abortions. But on the abortionist’s table, too late to stop the horror, Shandra realized her mistake.

“I was sick to my stomach when I heard that machine taking my baby out of my body,” says Shandra, whose friend had downplayed the experience. Then the real pain began. “I was devastated that I had taken my own child’s life! I went through many years of pain and suffering and hating myself."

Each of these broken people were lied to and purposefully injured by an industry built upon the ELIMINATION of minorities, immigrants, poor people and whoever else was deemed infirm or inconvenient.

Abortion is rooted in a eugenics movement.

Margaret Sanger founded Planned Parenthood as a vehicle to normalize eugenics and implement racial and ethnic cleansing.

Help us STOP the Genocide!

In 1916, Sanger built upon Charles Darwin’s eugenics ideology and opened her first “clinic.” In promoting sterilization and birth control, Sanger advanced a “Negro Project,” gave a speech to the Ku Klux Klan and advocated eugenic breeding for “the gradual suppression, elimination and eventual extinction, of defective stocks—those human weeds which threaten the blooming of the finest flowers of American civilization.”

But even as the eugenics ideology became discredited, Sanger’s genocidal aims did not. In 1962, Planned Parenthood President Alan Guttmacher used his position to openly endorse abortion for eugenic reasons.

A study based on 2010 Census data shows that nearly eight out of 10 Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are within walking distance of predominantly black or Hispanic neighborhoods.

The genocide continues today ...

  • Black women have experienced abortions at a rate nearly four times that of white women for more than 30 years.
  • Black women accounted for 33.6% of all reported abortions in 2018, even though they make up only 13% of women in the United States.
  • Abortion-induced deaths of the unborn in the black community are 69 times higher than HIV deaths, 31 times higher than homicides, 3.6 times higher than cancer-related deaths and 3.5 times higher than deaths caused by heart disease.

And in the state of Mississippi, which brought the Dobbs case to court, 72% of abortions were performed on black women in 2018.

Planned Parenthood was at its founding, and remains to this day, a racist institution intent on eliminating minorities and “undesirables.”

Meanwhile, the U.S. Senate is considering measures to abolish the filibuster to make unrestricted abortion the law of the land.

Only TWO more votes are needed to destroy the filibuster. If the filibuster goes down, radical abortion bills will pass.

Help us fight for life in state courts and in Congress. Send your faxes now. Tell all senators to HOLD THE LINE on the filibuster and refuse to pass ANY abortion-enabling legislation.
