Emboldened by the passage of three state abortion referenda (CA, MI and VT), the failure of two pro-life referenda (KY and MT) and the completion of the midterms, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Kamala Harris are dead set on passing a bill to make unrestricted abortion on demand the law of the land.

When it comes to defending life, we must NEVER give up! Silence in the face of evil is evil itself. We must not let America embrace death. 

I have seen and heard many unbelievably sick and evil things about abortion. That has been particularly true in our case defending Sandra Merritt, the pro-life hero whose investigative journalism exposed Planned Parenthood’s (PP) “Baby Parts for Sale” scheme.

As part of that ongoing case, PP doctors are on tape talking about perfecting techniques to harvest baby body parts intact to get higher prices for their organs. One PP doctor haggled for higher prices for her human organ trafficking, casually saying she “wants a Lamborghini.”

While Kamala Harris was still attorney general of California, she began an investigation against Sandra Merritt that has resulted in millions of dollars in civil penalties and criminal charges that may result in years in prison—all for exposing Planned Parenthood’s crimes.

Our legal team was back in San Francisco last week defending Sandra against these baseless charges. We will return again in a few weeks.

But while what Sandra exposed was horrific, I never could have imagined NPR would broadcast a live abortion for their listeners’ morning drive entertainment.

November 3, 2022, will go down as an infamous day in American communications history. That was the day a government-supported media outlet broadcast a live abortion direct from the surgical table as part of its morning entertainment.

NPR reporter Kate Wells went to an abortion clinic in Detroit, Michigan, purporting to prove that women were traveling to Michigan “in droves” to have their preborn children killed and surgically removed from their wombs after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. 

Wells did not exactly find the high traffic she was looking for, so instead, she went for shock value. The reporter talked a woman into allowing her to record live audio of the abortion as it happened and play it on NPR!

Wells treated the event as a beautiful thing, describing “dim lighting” and “soothing music” playing in the background. She claimed the abortion room atmosphere made it feel “a lot like childbirth.”

But comparing the calculated murder of a baby to the joyful birth of a child was not disgusting enough for the NPR reporter. Wells calmly informed listeners that the mother was “partially awake” as the machine revved up in the background, preparing to kill and extract the unborn child from its mother’s womb.

Help us fight this evil. Defend Sandra Merritt!

An abortion staffer can be heard trying to soothe the mother as she cried and moaned throughout the procedure. “You did it,” the staffer cheerfully chirped. “You did great.”

The post-abortive mother could still be heard whimpering and moaning in the background as Wells declared, in the same upbeat tone as the abortionist, “Within just a couple of minutes, it’s over!”

This was sick and obscene, but these are the lengths to which the pro-death abortion lobby is willing to go to normalize the mass murder of unborn children that happens every day in America.

As an effective undercover journalist and whistleblower, Sandra Merritt is facing the wrath of the abortion industry. Liberty Counsel is defending Sandra in what has become the most expensive case in our history. But while we fight for justice for both Sandra and the lost lives she documented, Congress is poised to give Planned Parenthood an unlimited flow of helpless babies to butcher.

Right now, the U.S. Senate is considering measures to pass a bill to make unrestricted abortion the law of the land.

Only two more senators are needed to eliminate the filibuster so that Kamala Harris can cast the winning vote on abortion. If they succeed, Congress will pass a bill specifically designed to shed innocent blood and make unfettered, unrestricted abortion the law of the land.
