The Bible often describes the life of someone following Jesus using the language and imagery of warfare. In fact, spiritual warfare is about recognizing that we have an enemy who wants to destroy us.

Yet the good news is that God gives us every resource to engage in spiritual warfare. He wants us to walk in hope because He has already won the ultimate battle through Jesus’ death and resurrection. However, we must show up for the daily battles that Satan throws our way.

When you read our updates and listen to our podcasts, you quickly learn that we have been blessed with great victories when we put on our spiritual armor and show up to the fight!

Here are some examples:

• We WON a unanimous U.S. Supreme Court ruling where all the Justices agreed that censoring the Christian flag in Boston was religious viewpoint discrimination and a violation of the First Amendment. The High Court stated that Boston violated the Constitution by censoring Camp Constitution’s private flag in a public forum open to “all applicants” merely because the application referred to it as a “Christian flag.” The flag finally flew in August on the Boston City Hall Plaza public forum flagpole as an enthusiastic crowd cheered to celebrate the first day free of unconstitutional viewpoint discrimination. Boston also was ordered to pay Liberty Counsel for attorney’s fees and costs.

• We filed an amicus brief when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of a high school football coach who was fired for silently praying on the field after games. The High Court ruled that the Bremerton School District violated both the First Amendment Free Speech and Free Exercise Clauses when it fired Coach Joe Kennedy for having prayer on the 50-yard line of the football field after the game. The Court also cited our case regarding the Christian flag when it finally buried the terrible 51-year-old court-made “Lemon test” that has caused so much damage to the First Amendment Establishment Clause.

• We WON a historic, first-of-its-kind class action settlement against a private employer against NorthShore University HealthSystem on behalf of more than 500 health care workers who were unlawfully discriminated against and denied religious exemptions from the COVID shot mandate. NorthShore had to pay $10,337,500 to compensate these health care employees and restore their positions after firing them for their religious beliefs against taking an injection associated with aborted fetal cells.

• We WON class action relief and a classwide preliminary injunction on behalf of all U.S. Marines who were denied religious accommodations from the COVID shots. In January 2023, we will return to the U.S. District Court of Florida seeking to convert the classwide preliminary injunction to a permanent injunction.

• We filed an amicus brief on behalf of African American and Hispanic churches when the U.S. Supreme Court finally overturned the horrible 1973 Roe v. Wade and 1992 Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey abortion decisions. The High Court also cited our brief in the long-awaited ruling in which we presented argument that the roots of abortion are “motivated by a desire to suppress the size of the African American population.”
