"I Literally Lost Organs"

Apr 10, 2023

A young woman “literally lost organs” as a result of the “trans” movement’s propaganda and grooming campaigns.

The LGBTQ mafia is trying to BAN Christian mental health counseling for children under 18 who desperately want to end their gender confusion and unwanted same-sex attractions and behaviors — because it is so effective in healing broken hearts, minds, and spirits by aligning them with our Father’s great design.

Last week, Tampa, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach County had to pay for their unconstitutional counseling bans that two federal Courts of Appeal struck down in our cases. These two victories wiped out 23 counseling bans in three states. We have 87 more to go to rid the country of these bad laws that are harming our children.

We need YOUR HELP to keep Christian mental health care legal. A special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE THE IMPACT of every dollar given today. Please give generously, then read on for the news. —Mat

“When other issues important to a child are not fully addressed then medical professionals are failing children," says Dr. Erica Anderson, a clinical psychologist who worries children are being rushed into "transitioning."

A recent survey of “detransitioners” (trans persons who reaffirm the gender God created them to be) conducted by Lisa Littman showed that 40% of respondents said their gender dysphoria was caused by a mental health condition. And 62% “felt medical professionals did not investigate whether trauma was a factor in their transition decisions.

Yet about 87 laws ban lifesaving counsel that will help people overcome unwanted same-sex attractions, behaviors, or gender confusion. These laws are spread over about half of the states with the rest in local municipalities.

Our two cases — Otto v. City of Boca Raton Palm Beach County and Vazzo v. City of Tampa — struck down 23 laws. Our first-in-the-nation victories are binding in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

But the majority of laws remain. We are filing suit in more states and are working to get every counseling ban overturned.

Yet another review, published in the Australian Journal of Psychology, examined the comorbidity rates of psychiatric disorders in “gender dysphoric” children ages 2–12 years old. Reviewing 15 studies from around the world, the researchers found that “data consistently showed that children with gender dysphoria were burdened by mental health concerns,” including:

  • 44% of the children were found to have “significant psychiatric history”;
  • 21% of the children in question had a pre-existing anxiety disorder; and
  • 7.8% of the children had autism spectrum disorder.

“More attention needs to be paid to psychotherapy,” says Chloe Cole. “We’re immediately jumping into irreversible medical treatments when we could be focusing on empowering these children to not hate their bodies.”

Chloe should know. At age 13, Chloe had a therapist who put her on puberty blockers, convincing her parents that unless they allowed the testosterone treatment, their daughter would commit suicide. By 15, Chloe’s breasts were removed. At 16, Chloe realized she had been sped down a very wrong road.

At no time during Chloe’s so-called “transition” did any medical professional advise against the cross-sex hormones or the transition surgery. In fact, in California where Chloe lived, the type of counseling that could have prevented her terrible mistake is banned by a state law.

“I was failed by the system. I literally lost organs,” Chloe says of the radical medical professionals who rushed her into “treatments.”

Now 18 and living as the woman God created her to be, Chloe is telling her story to warn the world. “I can’t stay quiet,” she says. “I need to do something about this and to share my own cautionary tale.”

There IS treatment for dysphoria that does NOT entail permanently damaging God’s precious creation, but instead uses God’s Word to HEAL.

Change counsel uses Christian principles and talk therapy to end body dysphoria and unwanted same-sex attractions, while also addressing and healing the mental health disorders and trauma issues behind and perhaps causing the dysphoria.

Perhaps because change counseling is so highly successful at resolving body dysphoria and unwanted same-sex attractions, the rabid LGBTQ lobby is fighting to BAN lifesaving change counsel therapy in cities and states across the country.

But Liberty Counsel is fighting these bans and winning.

Liberty Counsel has already overturned change counsel bans in Tampa, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach County in Florida. In fact, our two wins at the federal Court of Appeals overturned 23 laws that ban this lifesaving counsel. As a result, body dysphoria patients are once again free to seek the Bible-based Christian therapy that can save their lives.

But the LGBTQ crowd isn’t stopping. There are more than 87 other bans still on the books, and the LGBTQ mafia is pushing for yet more bans. LGBTQ groups like GLAAD are even trying to pressure newspapers and media companies to CENSOR any news, comments or even scientific articles that paint “transgenderism” in a poor light.

We need YOUR HELP to counter the lies, escalating violence, and life-destroying bans. Please fund our critical legal work defending our children — and the Word of God — today. When you do, a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE THE IMPACT of your donation. Please give today.
