Blockchain and cryptocurrency experts from around the world are issuing dire warnings about Joe Biden’s plan to replace cold, hard, American cash with programmable digital dollars, also known as Central Bank Digital Currencies or CBDCs.

CBDCs pose a direct threat to freedom. Several bills are pending to protect our freedom, but they must be passed before it’s too late. Fax Congress NOW and demand they STOP Joe Biden’s planned dictatorship over our own money.

When Canadian truckers formed a convoy in 2021 to protest the draconian COVID shutdown orders, the Canadian government set a dangerous precedent, giving the world a view of potentially worse abuses to come. The government shut down the truckers’ bank accounts, as well as the accounts and assets of the citizens who supported them. One moment the truckers and donors had access to their hard-earned money, the next those funds were frozen by the government.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s actions were a clear violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights — a treaty to which Canada is a signatory party. The treaty guarantees citizens the right to peaceably assemble. But by seizing and freezing their assets, Trudeau and his tyrannical cronies prevented Canadian citizens from exercising that right.

“The events in Canada were made that much more shocking due to Canada being widely regarded as a bastion of liberal democracy and human freedom,” cryptocurrency and blockchain expert Iain Taylor says.

If this happened in a “free” country, “what hope is there for countries with a history of authoritarianism and corrupt banking infrastructure?” Taylor asks.

“Moreover, if these emergency measures were achieved without the use of a CBDC, how much more damage could be done with the use of one? It is easy to imagine how a more nefarious government may utilize CBDCs to limit and control their opposition from speaking out,” Taylor says.

STOP Biden’s programmable digital dollars!

There are many problems with CBDCs. And those issues are not limited to a government targeting individuals or groups of people, as Canada did.

CBDCs are, by definition, programmable money. That means that any government can (and, therefore, likely will) utilize their programmable nature to force people to “use it or lose it,” at the government’s discretion.

CBDCs also can allow the government to censor user spending by programming the funds to be used only at certain stores or for certain products.

“Money that can be tied to a digital ID and health records to prevent or limit your consumption of alcohol, tobacco, or foods high in saturated fats,” says Taylor, and to force citizens to participate in “ESG or whatever policies of the government of the day are.”

And of course, the U.S. government could prevent Americans from using their funds to buy guns and ammunition, or even prevent them from tithing to their church or supporting Christian organizations like ours.

A friend just returned from China where the driver had to scan his face at the gas pump. Up popped his social credit score, and thankfully it was high enough to allow him to fill up the tank.

My friend, this is what’s coming if we don’t stop the CBDC now!

Update on some legal cases ...

U.S. Supreme Court Petition Defending Pro-Life Heroes: Liberty Counsel petitioned the High Court to hear our case defending Sandra Merrit, the pro-life hero who exposed Planned Parenthood’s gruesome “Baby Parts for Sale” scheme. Sandra has been slapped with a 16-million-dollar judgment in the Planned Parenthood civil suit against her, as well as the first-ever criminal case brought by California (under the initiation of Kamala Harris and Xavier Becerra when they were attorneys general for the state).

Continuing the fight for LIFE: Liberty Counsel has filed briefs in several states, defending the right to life. In the wake of the Dobbs ruling, (which specifically cited Liberty Counsel’s amicus brief), pro-abortion forces are fighting to continue killing babies.

Defending Christian Counseling: Liberty Counsel continues to fight unconstitutional bans on Christian counseling. Our work has overturned 23 laws, but 87 bans are still in effect across the country. We will continue to fight until every unlawful restriction is overturned once and for all.

Taking on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “Hate Map”: Liberty Counsel joined the lawsuit against the SPLC in its dangerous and deadly false labeling of nonviolent people or organizations as “hate groups.”
