Join Gideon's Army

Dec 11, 2023

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? — Romans 8:31

Thank you for helping Liberty Counsel shine the light of God’s truth and righteousness in this dark world.

Gideon’s army was reduced from 30,000 to just 300. Yet the size of his army had little to do with defeating the Midianites. Of course, the shock and awe of the trumpets, torches, shouting, and breaking of jars in the darkness were intimidating to the enemy. Yet those things were only instruments in God’s hand.

By following God, rather than giving into fear, that brave one percent force changed the course of human history. This example from the ancient Israelites is a reminder that He only needs a small group of faithful followers TODAY.

We must have FAITH over fear! Just as in the account of Gideon’s army, those willing to stand strong and follow God are in the minority.

People of faith across this nation are facing discrimination, harassment, persecution, and financial crises because of standing for His righteousness and truth. Yet God has called Liberty Counsel to stand and fight for them!

This year, we joined the legal team as counsel representing the Dustin Inman Society and its founder and president, D.A. King, to take on the Goliath known as the Southern Poverty Law Center. Our clients have suffered damage to their reputations and the SPLC’s “hate label” has harmed the organization and its mission regarding immigration laws.

This is the first “hate group” defamation case against the SPLC that has moved forward with discovery!

The SPLC’s false “hate label” is dangerous and has caused acts of violence against groups as a result. In 2013, Floyd Corkins was sentenced to 25 years in prison for his attempted mass murder in 2012 at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C. Corkins admitted that he selected FRC as his target because it was on the SPLC’s “hate group” list.

Mark Potock with the SPLC admitted in an interview: “Our criteria for a ‘hate group,’ first of all, have nothing to do with criminality or violence or any kind of guess we’re making about ‘this group could be dangerous.’ It’s strictly ideological.” Potok stated, “Sometimes the press will describe us as monitoring hate crimes and so on. I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them.”

The SPLC has now admitted James Hodgkinson, the D.C. shooter who gunned down Rep. Steve Scalise, two staff members, and two U.S. Capitol Police officers, “liked” the SPLC on Facebook. In 2015, the SPLC wrote an article pushing the idea that Rep. Scalise promoted white supremacy and supported a “hate group” founded by former KKK member David Duke. The SPLC article clearly tries to infer that Rep. Scalise is a so-called “hater” and supporter of a “hate group.”

Gideon’s Army is rising! Please STAND UP and join us in the battle!
