Pope Francis is in league with the globalist movement, ponying up a massive donation and agreeing to comply with World Health Organization (WHO) directives … whether those directives align with the church’s teaching or not.

Liberty Counsel has fought for three years to preserve the religious freedom rights of all people whose faith prohibited them from taking an abortion-linked COVID shot. But if Joe Biden signs America on to the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty and revised International Health Regulations (IHR), there won’t be a thing Liberty Counsel will be able to do to stop the medical tyranny forcing people to violate the most basic tenets of their faith.

During the heat of the shot mandate scandals, Pope Francis defied one of the most basic tenets of the Roman Catholic church — that all life is sacred — to push the globalist (Darwinian) vision of the U.N.’s World Health Organization.

At that time, the WHO was pushing for humans everywhere to receive the COVID shots. But every one of the shots was developed and/or tested using aborted fetal cell lines. The Catholic Church’s stance on abortion has always been perfectly clear — abortion is a sin. By extension, taking a drug derived from or tested using the cells of aborted babies is also a sin.

But that was before Pope Francis made the Vatican a member of the WHO.

In 2021, the Vatican was granted “permanent observer status” to the World Health Assembly (WHA). Upon joining the WHA, Pope Francis turned Catholic teaching on its ear, declaring that it is “morally acceptable” for Catholics to receive the abortion-tainted COVID shots. In fact, Pope Francis was “fully vaccinated” with the DNA-changing Pfizer-BioNTech shots.

Even worse, Francis said there was no religious conscience right to refuse the shots. And the Vatican pressured clergy to refuse to support the laity’s request for exemptions based on their religious and moral conscience objections. One of the priests to whom Liberty Counsel referred Catholics for a clergy support letter has now been removed by Francis.

Liberty Counsel defended many of these Catholics (and others) in our defense of military members, employees, students, and health care professionals whose religious freedom rights were being violated by the shot mandates.

In 2021, perhaps in recognition of the pope’s support of Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus’ outrageous shot orders, the Vatican was given “permanent member status” at the WHO.

Such status means that the Vatican may “participate in the general debate of the WHO’s world health issues,” can attend World Health Assembly meetings, can co-sponsor draft resolutions, and can “reply and raise points involving the Holy See,” but it cannot challenge the decision of the presiding officer.

In other words, the permanent observer status means the Vatican may attend and may even comment on WHO activities, but ultimately, the Vatican must comply with WHO directives … even if those directives conflict with church teaching.

The WHO and the globalist forces behind it have long tried to eradicate pesky religious freedom rights. Now they are doing it by bending the Roman Catholic church to their will and using it to deliver globalist propaganda from the world’s largest pulpit.

Regardless of whether Pope Francis decides to publicly endorse the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty and revised IHR, Liberty Counsel will continue to fight for religious freedom. That begins with defeating Joe Biden’s plans to sign America on to this liberty- and sovereignty-killing mess.

Our staff is working with key members of Congress to pass HR 1425 and S 444 — two bills designed to force Joe Biden to seek a 2/3 Senate approval to sign any international agreement with the WHO as constitutionally required. And I can assure you, Biden will NEVER get 2/3 of this Senate to go along with his globalist plans!
