When Americans consider the abominable practice of human organ trafficking, we think of the horrific stories coming out of China in which unsuspecting or enslaved people are drugged and their organs removed to be sold on the black market.

But our client, Sandra Merritt, exposed a shocking and horrific truth through a series of undercover videos: Massive human organ trafficking is happening right here in America … and Planned Parenthood is the biggest supplier of human organs being sold to the highest bidder.

You’re just kind of cognizant of where you put your graspers. You try to intentionally go above and below the thorax ... I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact,” the abortion doctor proudly says on the video.

When Sandra’s videos were released to the public, Planned Parenthood cheerleader, then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris, used her position to immediately begin an extensive criminal investigation against Sandra, seeking to silence her and stop the videos.

When Harris became a U.S. senator, then-California Attorney General Xavier Becerra (who now serves as Biden’s and Harris’ secretary of Health and Human Services) charged Sandra with 15 felony criminal counts.

Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood filed a civil suit against Sandra, and a judge awarded the abortion giant tens of millions of dollars.

We continue to fight these bogus charges and the wrongful civil judgment in court. Liberty Counsel has managed to get some charges dropped and reduced the 15 criminal charges to eight. Even so, if convicted, Sandra faces huge fines and years in prison for exposing Planned Parenthood’s scheme!

Fighting opponents with almost unlimited resources ...

Defending Sandra in both the criminal and civil cases lodged against her has consumed thousands of hours and resulted in enormous financial costs.

We are up against Planned Parenthood, one of America's most powerful organizations, and the nearly unlimited resources of the State of California. Both have put a huge target on Sandra’s back.

I cannot begin to tell you how consuming these cases are for our staff. Liberty Counsel lawyers have already taken part in some 40 depositions in these cases, each requiring the direct involvement of our legal team. Planned Parenthood attorneys, for example, deposed Sandra for 11 hours!

The pace of litigation in both cases is accelerating, and we are in hostile territory (San Francisco), but we must defend Sandra — who did nothing wrong.
