It’s a new year, and Liberty Counsel is facing a new mountain of work. Let me tell you about just a few of the new cases and clients we are handling.

Last year alone, we received over 1,000 requests for legal help. And despite President Trump’s return to the White House, our legal work is busier than ever.

These are just a few of the many requests for help we receive. Here are several more:

• Schoolteachers in Minnesota who refuse to teach the district’s mandatory LGBTQ lessons, including false pronouns and the unscientific idea that one can chose from any number of made-up genders.
• A Virginia school system that told high school students they could not discuss the Bible in school.
• A Christian dance studio owner threatened with lawsuits because she will not allow a biological boy who identifies as a girl to dress like one and join the girls-only dance troupe.
• Parents in an Illinois school system that refused to allow them to opt their children out of LGBTQ and anti-Christian lessons.
• An elderly woman in Florida who was informed by her senior living facility that she would be evicted if she continued to say “God bless you” to residents or staff.
• A Florida church was denied equal access to facilities because the city building department declared that “religious education is not real education.”
• A North Carolina church whose city council tried to strip their tax exemption because the city claimed the church school, playground, and lawn were not being used for religious purposes.
• A Veterans Affairs employee who was denied religious accommodation so that he would not have to use a bathroom with women who identify as men.

Sadly, this is just a small portion of the 1,044 legal help requests Liberty Counsel has received in the last 12 months. And the requests keep piling in on top of the existing cases we have making their way through various state courts, courts of appeals, and to the U.S. Supreme Court. Those cases include:

• Defending Planned Parenthood whistleblower Sandra Merritt.
• Defending religious freedom fighter Kim Davis.
• Battling the SPLC’s libelous and dangerously false “hate list.”
• Fighting the ACLU’s attempts to force Christian universities to abandon their doctrine.
• Suing the U.S. Department of Defense to force it to end its unlawful “No Christians as Commanders” policy.
• Filing briefs in the lawsuit against the FDA’s mail-order abortion policy, which is allowing out-of-state doctors to openly and flagrantly violate pro-life laws in other states by killing babies with abortifacients across state lines.
• Overturning Christian counseling bans.
• Fighting the LGBTQ’s child sex-change agenda.
• And so much more.
