Of the 1,044 requests for legal help we have received in the last 12 months, a shocking number are coming from Christian parents, teachers, and students under attack by the LGBTQ and woke agenda designed to eliminate any and all Christian viewpoints and values.

It’s a new year and Liberty Counsel is facing a new mountain of work, a huge percentage of which revolves around our public and private school systems.

• In Virginia, high school students discussing Bible verses were told they were not allowed to discuss the Bible in school.
• In California, an “out and proud” LGBTQ teacher has been trying to get our client fired simply because she leads a school Bible club.
• In Florida, a city council is trying to deny a church’s private Christian school’s tax exemption by claiming “religious education is not ‘real’ education.”
• In Washington, teachers were ordered to sign a contract affirming transgender ideology and agreeing to lie to parents about a student’s gender “choice” or face termination of their job.
• In Virginia, a substitute teacher was refused work because of her "strong religious views.”
• In Arizona, an adjunct professor lost his teaching contract because he discussed his personal Christian beliefs on his own personal time off campus.
• In Minnesota, several teachers objected to teaching a district-mandated lesson on LGBTQ that contained shockingly vulgar images and which conflicted with their Christian beliefs.
• In California, a teacher in a public school was reprimanded for keeping a Bible on his desk and for daring to use a VeggieTales episode as part of a curriculum on ancient Hebrews. The principal declared he shouldn’t mention God at all, even to explain what the ancient Hebrews believed and why they were and continue to be persecuted.
• In Illinois, California, and Minnesota, school systems refused to allow parents to opt their children out of sexually graphic, LGBTQ, and anti-Christian lessons.
• In Minnesota, a school district refused to accommodate a Christian family’s opposition to a cross-dresser tutoring their special needs daughter.
• In Virginia, the ACLU is suing a prominent Christian university in an effort to force the school to abandon its Christian doctrine.
