Every state in America has laws protecting minors from obscenity. But in their sick quest to warp the minds and capture the hearts of children, the queer and drag community are trying to force one city into hosting an open-air deviant celebration.

Backed by the ACLU, an LGBTQ group in Naples, FL, is demanding a family park be turned into an open-air deviant strip club to celebrate so-called “Pride” Month this June.

The last time the LGBTQ of Naples attempted this stunt, back in 2022, grown men dressed in scanty clothing, adorned garish makeup and women’s wigs to perform overtly sexualized dances before a small crowd of attendees in one of Naple’s family parks.

Worse yet, these grown men invited small children from the crowd to stuff dollar bills into the men’s rhinestone-studded thong underwear as the men shook their overstuffed brassiere tops and “twerked” their fishnet-covered hind ends mimicking sexual activities no child should ever see.

The City of Naples revoked the group’s permit to use the park after the lewd 2022 performances, and the LGBTQ group was forced to take their sexually deviant celebration behind closed doors.

In 2023, the Florida legislature also acted, passing SB 1438, the Protection of Children Act. This act, now law under FL Statute Section 4, 827.11 (1)(a), makes it a crime to conduct an “Adult Live Performance” in front of children.

According to the law, “adult live performance” isn't limited to drag queens, but “any show, exhibition, or other presentation in front of a live audience which, in whole or in part, depicts or simulates nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, or specific sexual activities ... lewd conduct, or the lewd exposure of prosthetic or imitation genitals or breasts.”

But Naples Pride and the ALCU are now fighting back, insisting that their backward burlesque be forced onto the public park stage so they can get yet more young children to stuff dollar bills into the drag queens’ oversized fake breasts and undersized thong underwear.

It’s bad enough when deceived parents willingly bring their children to these performances that all but rape young children’s impressionable minds. But this attempt to turn a family park into a deviant strip club demonstrates all too clearly that the LGBTQ agenda has its sights on warping the minds of America’s children at the earliest possible age.

I have spoken often about the 4-14 window, the most important years of a child’s life that form the young person’s lifelong view of the world. But while we in the Christian community are preaching the gospel to these children, members of the LGBTQ community are preaching their warped ideology as well, effectively grooming these children for early sexualization and later membership into the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and queer cultural revolution.

Liberty Counsel has submitted an amicus brief defending the City of Naples, and we will not rest until every child is safe from the lures of the adult sex industry.
