As a small child, Jeannie* was in love with God’s created marvels of the sea. At age 5-6, Jeannie would wear her shark costume. She even (unsuccessfully) demanded her family call her “Sharky.”

Even in her later elementary and middle school years, Jeannie insisted that she would rather be a shark, swimming in the ocean and eating fresh fish.

Should Jeannie’s parents have adopted the child’s new chosen name, or denied the reality of her immutable biological reality? Should her parents have eschewed pediatrician visits to have their daughter treated by marine veterinarians and/or paid plastic surgeons to carve their daughter’s appearance into something more shark like?

Of course not. Jeannie could no more be turned into a shark than a girl could be turned into a boy. Sounds crazy, I know. But this scenario is no different than the lie that you can chose whatever “gender” you please.

The sad thing is that when boys or girls suffer from depression, anxiety, body image dysphoria, autism, or a host of other stressors, they need appropriate help. The last thing they need is a lie that puberty blockers and mutilating surgeries will solve their problems.

An entire industry has arisen based on the false premise that a lifetime of drugs and outrageously expensive experimental surgeries can change a child’s gender — and WE are paying for this scientifically unsound insanity!

HR 977 & S 2202, the End Taxpayer Funding of Gender Experimentation Act of 2025, seeks to prevent Medicaid, Medicare, and any of the taxpayer-subsidized American Healthcare Act insurance policies from paying for chemical and surgical surgeries and puberty blockers.

Puberty blockers, hormones, and mutilating surgeries are extraordinarily expensive. The hormone drugs will cost of up to 500 dollars per month for life. And the multiple surgeries the person undergoes are outrageously expensive – not to mention painful and fraught with complications.

“Bottom surgery” is the euphemism to describe their practice of surgically removing a person’s genitals. Then the surgeon removes flesh from other areas of the patient’s body to perform grotesque plastic surgery.

That surgery alone can cost up to 150,000 dollars. “Top surgery” is a euphemism for removing healthy breast from a female, or adding breast implants for a male. But the process STILL isn’t finished. After that, the patient undergoes body and facial plastic surgeries to make the thighs, buttocks, legs, shoulders, jaw line, cheekbones, and lips appear more feminine or masculine. Laser hair removal is used to erase beard stubble and mustaches, and thyroid cartilage is “shaved” off a man’s neck to reduce the size of the Adam’s apple.

All in all, a chemical and surgical intervention can range from several hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars.

Because Medicaid, Medicare, and many of the taxpayer-subsidized American Healthcare Act exchange insurance programs cover these destructive, experimental gender surgeries, you and I are footing the bill.

Despite the LGBTQ and the profit-seeking “gender affirming” industry claims, gender is not “assigned” at birth. These folks apparently all skipped Biology 101 classes, which unarguably demonstrate that your DNA is determined at conception. And from the time that egg is fertilized, every one of the 30 trillion cells are hardwired either male or female.

No amount of drugs or surgeries can change those cells to become something other than what was created at conception.

The LGBTQ crowd tried, but failed, to hide the actual science.

For years, WPATH (World Professional Association of Transgender Health) has insisted that people will commit suicide if they do not undergo gender reassignment procedures. This has caused doctors to goad parents into “gender affirming” drugs and surgeries for their children by claiming its “better to have a living ‘son’ than a dead daughter.”

But WPATH lied. The studies WPATH used to bolster this claim deliberately hid the fact that people who undergo such surgeries have a higher rate of suicide than their peers. Studies have thoroughly debunked the LGBTQ cult and WPATH’s claims, including studies which prove:

• 85% or more of children experiencing gender dysphoria grow out of it by the time they reach adulthood. 
• 2 out of 3 who undergo surgery “regret” their decision within 5 years.  
• People who have undergone surgery have a 12 times higher risk of suicide than those who never underwent such procedures. 

Most of the damage done by these ghouls cannot be undone, trapping these people in a body permanently mutilated by the greedy surgeons. 

Even the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) agrees that the “science” isn’t what it should be. A statement on the ASPS website advises: “ASPS currently understands that there is considerable uncertainty as to the long-term efficacy for the use of chest and genital surgical interventions for the treatment of adolescents with gender dysphoria, and the existing evidence base is viewed as low quality/low certainty.”

As Christians, we know that God created us in the womb, and God does not make mistakes. The natural differences in their bodies and personalities are all part of the beautiful diversity in God’s created world.

There is a PROVEN treatment for gender dysphoria, but the LGBTQ crowd has worked to BAN this effective counseling.

More than 100 cities and states have banned Christian change counseling. We have already overturned 23 of these bans, and the U.S. Supreme Court will review the matter this fall. Please be in prayer for all the children and young adults who have been deceived by the relentless recruiting campaign. Pray, too, that God would open the eyes and hearts of the Frankenstinian doctors poisoning and mutilating children and adults for profit and fame.
