Will Congress ban financial surveillance and control schemes?

One of the glorious things about living in a free country is the ability to spend our hard-earned money how we, not the government, see fit. But a globalist faction in the U.S. government is promoting a scheme that would create a system where the government decides when, where, how, and on what you will be allowed to spend your own money!

Already, one nation is using this financial power to prevent its citizens from buying heating oil or natural gas to warm their homes!

One bill stands in the way — S 1124, the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act — and the Senate is poised to vote on this measure within days. The House passed the companion bill — HR 1919. In addition to S 1124, the backup plan is to add this bill as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). We are close to winning, but we’re not there yet.

There’s an old story about how to trap wild pigs. Maybe you’ve heard it before. The hunter places food in the forest for the pigs to eat. The pigs grow used to the free food and keep coming back. Each time the food is refilled, another fence goes up, slowly encircling the animals distracted by their free feast. The pigs don’t see the danger until the last fence is erected around their “free food” pile, and the pigs are fully trapped in the pen before being hauled off for slaughter.

That analogy is what is happening around the world — and in our own country — with Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).

Globalists are fighting this attempt to ban CBDCs. Instead, they want to force everyone into using this financial surveillance tool created by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).  

Their plan is to begin with welfare and other government fund recipients (Social Security retirement and disability). Once normalized among those segments of society, the globalist control freaks plan to unleash this financial theft of freedom instrument on everyone.  

As of 2025, 130 countries are engaged in CBDC research, and at least 11 countries have implemented CBDCs. 

Thailand has already begun trapping its people.

Last year, Thailand began bribing its citizens into accepting digital control of their finances. The Thai government signed up approximately 35 million people, all low income, to receive “free” government digital currency “money” via the government’s new “digital coin wallet.”

But that money comes with strings attached. Fund recipients may NOT use the money how they please, instead they must use the funds as the government dictates, even if that is not in the person’s best interest.

For instance, recipients MUST use the funds within a 4-kilometer radius of their home, and the funds MAY NOT be put into savings. Instead, the funds must be spent within six months, or the funds disappear.

Furthermore, the Thai government FORBIDS the funds from being spent on what the government has determined to be “frivolous” expenditures. According to the Thai government, fuel oil and natural gas are listed among the banned “frivolous” expenditures.

I don’t know about you, but fuel to heat one’s home does not seem “frivolous” to me. But the Thai government created this financial control tool, so they set the rules — and they can take away the “free” money at will.

Tell the Senate: BAN CBDCs before it’s too late!

The Communist Chinese Party used nearly the same tactic when it began implementing its digital financial control scheme a few years ago. When the CCP introduced its CBDC, Chinese citizens were loath to adopt it, so the CCP began giving away “free” money.

Through a series of giveaways and lotteries, the CCP has given millions in free digital currency to its citizens, but that “free” money comes with strings attached. The CCP gets to monitor and control how and when a person uses their “money.”

Fast-forward to 2025, and the CCP’s control has become so pervasive that if the CCP feels a user has spent too much money on gasoline or health care, the party forbids the user from spending their own money, no matter how much is in that person’s account. Because the CCP controls the digital wallet and payment systems, the person’s payment card is automatically rejected at the place of payment, be that a gas pump or a doctor’s office.

Joe Biden issued an executive order in March 2022, ordering the Federal Reserve to begin developing a U.S. CBDC that will replace cold, hard cash.

Upon taking office, President Trump overturned Biden’s order. But President Trump’s executive order will only last as long as HE does. Our best chance to prevent future financial surveillance and control is to get the Senate to PERMANENTLY BAN CBDCs NOW.
