New tactic: Bankrupting Christians

Bankruptcy & Violent Threats:

The LGBTQ’s Latest Tactic Against Christians

Two angry men are trying to bankrupt Kim Davis because they hate her Christian faith. These two men have persecuted Kim for the last decade, and now have received a 360,000-dollar judgment against her. If that weren’t enough, their fellow LGBTQ adherents are making almost unspeakable violent threats to terrify this Kim into silence.

We are fighting to overturn this wrongful judgment and filed Kim’s case with the U.S. Supreme Court last week.

If a Christian can be personally sued for their religious freedom and belief that marriage is only for one man and one woman, then America has no religious freedom at all.

Pray for Kim Davis and this latest Liberty Counsel case before the U.S. Supreme Court. Our Challenge Grant will DOUBLE YOUR GIFT.

Kim’s family has been burdened with horrific threats ever since making headlines in 2015. The violent threats against Kim and her family are unspeakable. In one case, Kim’s husband answered a phone call at home that sent chills down his spine.

The angry caller threatened to tie up Kim’s husband and force him to watch as his wife was brutally raped. Then the caller said he would burn down the house with the two of them still inside.

Kim Davis and Liberty Counsel have received many threats, and those threats have continued for 10 years. Kim’s husband, Joe, has had to run intruders off their property.

A video game was even made about Kim Davis where the players earn points for hurting the soft-spoken Christian woman.

The issue started in 2015, when “five lawyers” on the Supreme Court rewrote the objective definition of marriage in the Obergefell opinion. Kim’s job duties were regulated by Kentucky statutes, which only permitted marriage licenses between one man and one woman. Had Kim issued a license to two men, she would have been committing a felony.

But Kim had a bigger problem. As a born-again Christian she could not, in good conscience, affix her name as the authorizing agent to an act strictly prohibited by the Bible. Kim requested religious accommodation from the State of Kentucky and stopped issuing any marriage licenses until she heard from the then-Democrat governor. Instead of allowing Kim to remove her name from the license, a judge sent her to prison for six days.

The newly elected Republican governor granted Kim’s request in December 2015, and the legislature unanimously followed suit in April 2016. The two men obtained a license from another clerk that struck through Kim’s name. But that was not good enough for the two vindictive men

David Ermold and David Moore told GQ magazine that they had never even discussed marriage. But when they heard about Kim Davis, they grabbed their cell phones and traveled to Kim’s office to film themselves harassing and humiliating her over her faith.

When their first video went viral, they kept going back to Kim’s office over and over again, filming more videos harassing the quiet woman in modest clothes, hoping to become “internet famous.

It worked, and the men wound up getting not one, but TWO full-feature spreads in GQ. By 2017, the two Davids’ internet fame had disappeared, so they tried a new harassment campaign — taking Kim’s job. David ran against Kim for the role of Rowan County, KY, clerk — but lost before he even got out of the primary.

But the two Davids weren't done with Kim yet. Then they decided to SUE Kim for hurting their feelings — an ironic action considering their entire modus operandi was to publicly humiliate KIM

We are now at the U.S. Supreme Court, and we need YOUR HELP to win this case! The stakes are incredibly high, because if we lose, ANYONE can be sued for using their religious freedom rights ... which means there will be no religious freedom in America at all.

Help us defend Kim Davis today. DOUBLE YOUR GIFT’S IMPACT THROUGH OUR CHALLENGE GRANT.

Anyone who stands up to the hateful LGBTQ Mafia is demonized — all because the unhinged LGBTQ left will not tolerate religious freedom and wants to destroy anyone who disagrees.

Now the LGBTQ crowd is pressuring Congress to ELIMINATE religious freedom in favor of LGBTQ rights. HR 15, the Equality Act of 2025, expressly eliminates religious accommodations. That means if this bill passes, NO ONE will be safe.

The margins in Congress are tight, but WE CAN WIN if we make a gigantic fuss NOW!

WE MUST STOP THIS BILL! Fax Congress NOW to demand members VOTE NO on the “Equality Act”!

Finally, please continue to pray for Kim and for favor before the High Court.
