Prof Fired for Speaking at School Board

UA professor FIRED for opposing LGBTQ grooming in his young child’s public school

Can you imagine losing your job for speaking out against a school district's attempt to secretly push LGBTQ indoctrination on your children?

That’s exactly what happened to our client, Prof. Daniel Grossenbach.

The LGBTQ army keeps trying to silence, censor, and “cancel” Christians who dare speak out against LGBTQ’s childhood indoctrination. Daniel is just one of our clients who lost his livelihood over his Christian beliefs. We need your help to defend Christians under attack by the LGBTQ.

Help us defend Christians under attack by the LGBTQ and a generous Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the impact of your donation.

Daniel’s son attends public school in the foothills of Arizona’s Santa Catalina Mountains. The school district his children attend is not affiliated with the university

Daniel discovered his son’s school district was asking minor children to reveal their “sexual preferences.”

Worse yet, a leaked email from the school principal revealed that the school was secretly encouraging children to “identify” as the opposite sex. The policies mandated that staff refer to students using alternative names and “gender affirming” pronouns while ordering teachers to HIDE this information from parents.

The school district was pushing children into irreversible chemical and surgical castration.

The school board refused to accept parent comments on the matter, so Daniel formed a nonprofit organization focused on educating parents about local school board policies and fundamental parental rights. He began speaking at school board meetings.

The University of Arizona then FIRED Daniel for using his Title VII religious freedom and First Amendment free speech rights!

As an ethics professor and Christian apologist, Daniel knows that parents have the right to direct the upbringing of their children. He also believes that God perfectly designed every person, making each of them either male or female since before their birth, and that attempts to depart from God’s natural design is sin.

Furthermore, Daniel has sincere religious convictions that whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it commits sin. Thus, Daniel was compelled by his sincerely held religious beliefs and convictions to speak out against the public school district and protect his children.

The Supreme Court recently confirmed in Mahmoud v. Taylor (a case we briefed) that “[a] government burdens the religious exercise of parents when it requires them to submit their children to instruction that poses a very real threat of undermining the religious beliefs and practices that the parents wish to instill.”

When Daniel was expressing his views regarding parental rights at school board meetings, he was speaking on matters of public concern and was engaged in constitutionally protected speech, religious expression, and religious exercise regarding his faith, morality, and the community.

The University of Arizona discriminated against Daniel and retaliated against him because of his constitutionally protected speech, religious expression, and religious exercise

Liberty Counsel has filed suit against the University of Arizona on behalf of Daniel. We need your prayers in this case, as well as your direct financial support.

The University of Arizona has a 1.5 BILLION-dollar asset base and another 1.2 BILLION-dollar endowment at its disposal.

Your average professor simply does not have the funds to defend against that kind of financial behemoth — unless they have YOUR HELP. Our clients never pay for our legal services. Instead, they rely on supporters like YOU.

Please help us defend Daniel and all Christians under LGBTQ attack by supporting our legal fund today. When you do, a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE the impact of your donation. Please, give generously.

ONE MORE THING! The LGBTQ lobby is trying to fend off court rulings by pushing Congress to pass the misnamed “Equality Act.” This legislation specifically REVOKES religious freedom rights. If this grotesque bill passes, EVERYONE — including your church, your pastor, and even YOU — could be sued and silenced by the LGBTQ agenda. Fax Congress now and demand they VOTE NO on the Equality Act of 2025.
