Dems Demand Taxpayers Cover LGBTQ  

“Gender Transition” Surgeries 

House and Senate Democrats are refusing to reopen the government unless the continuing resolution (CR) forces taxpayers to cover so-called "gender-affirming care” and trans surgeries. 

“The bottom line: Democrats are holding our government hostage so they can fund illegal alien healthcare, transgender surgeries, and dead people on Medicaid rolls,” says Rep. Mark Harris (R-NC).

Congressional Democrats are tripping over themselves to appease a tiny minority of people with gender dysphoria delusions.

Any psychologist will tell you that the worst thing one can do for a delusional patient is to “affirm” their delusions. Yet, not only do congressional Democrats seek to affirm the mental illness known as gender dysphoria, they want YOU to pay for it!

Mental illness in America exploded during the Democrats’ COVID shutdowns, especially among teens and young adults who were cut off from their peers and forced into almost total online living.

Statistics show that anxiety, depression, and thoughts of suicide rose exponentially. But the most shocking growth was in “gender dysphoria,” the wrongful belief that one can be born in the wrong body.

Thankfully, the shutdowns eventually ended, and much of the mental illness they caused has subsided. A new study shows that the number of youth and young adults “identifying” as the opposite sex has plummeted by half since the Democrats were forced to end their shutdowns and allow the world to open again. 

But Democrats aren’t giving up on their plans for a genderless society. They are insisting that taxpayers be forced to pay for so-called “gender-affirming care” services, including “transgender” surgeries!

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) even stormed into the Oval Office to demand these trans surgeries be covered in order to reopen the government! 

President Trump wisely told the pair to, effectively, “go fly a kite.” But in haste to reopen the government, some in Washington are considering capitulating to the Dem’s gender-bending demands!

The Bible is crystal clear: God is omnipotent. He created man and woman, and He does not make mistakes!

Trans surgeries have a shockingly high rate of complications. And the vast majority of young people who experience gender dysphoria will grow out of it if allowed to mature naturally.

NO Taxpayer-Funded LGBTQ “Trans” Surgeries! Tell Congress to pass S 3011, S 977, & HR 2202.

A far safer and better answer to the gender dysphoria problem is Christian counseling. Christian counseling has been repeatedly proven to successfully and healthily resolve gender dysphoria and unwanted sexual attractions. But sadly, 110 cities and states nationwide have bowed to LGBTQ pressure and banned this lifesaving practice!

Liberty Counsel overturned 23 of these bans, freeing people in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida to seek and receive this lifesaving talk therapy. In doing so, our win teed up the current case before the U.S. Supreme Court, Chiles v. Salazar.

Liberty Counsel submitted our amicus brief to the High Court, and oral arguments were held on October 7. Based on the arguments, I believe the Court will strike down the Colorado counseling ban. But I also believe the blue cities, counties, and states will refuse to comply with the decision. We will then deploy our legal team to file lawsuits to enforce the Court’s order.
