SCOTUS Reviews TWO Liberty Counsel Cases Today
High Court will decide whether to take up Kim Davis and New York health care cases.

TODAY, the U.S. Supreme Court will conference on two of Liberty Counsel’s landmark cases. Both cases present clear religious liberty infractions, in which Christians are being punished for their religious convictions.

In Kim Davis v. Ermold, the High Court will decide if individuals can be sued into bankruptcy when their religious beliefs conflict with a mandate where an accommodation of that belief is easily achievable.

The Obergefell v. Hodges opinion was not based on the Constitution. Five lawyers imposed their will that gender is irrelevant in a gender-based relationship where marriage has always been between one man and one woman. Kim Davis got the accommodation she requested to remove her name from the license. David Ermold and David Moore got a license without Kim’s name. But the litigation continued because they wanted her name on their license to punish and mock her. 

Kim Davis is being sued for 360,000 dollars by two angry men. We are asking the High Court to overturn this wrongful judgment against Kim based on the First Amendment, because if a person can be sued for exercising their religious freedom, then America has no religious freedom at all. And we are asking the Court to overturn Obergefell, which started this mess.

In Does 1-2 v. NY Gov. Kathy Hochul, the High Court will decide whether a state may rob citizens of their federal Title VII religious freedom rights.  

During COVID, Gov. Hochul claimed extraordinary powers to supersede federal law and the Constitution. She ordered New York businesses to fire all employees who refused the COVID shots for religious reasons. Businesses who refused to violate the clear federal law on this issue would have their business licenses revoked and would be fined daily. 

If a governor can revoke state, federal, and constitutionally guaranteed religious freedom rights, then Americans have no religious freedom rights at all.
