As many as 300 new pediatric gender clinics have now opened in the United States since the first one opened in 2007. The total revenue for drugs and surgeries is estimated to be 4.4 billion dollars. By 2030, the market is expected to grow beyond 7.8 billion dollars. Despite “the minimum age of 18 as eligibility” to undergo these procedures, these facilities encourage parents to “medically mutilate” their children as early as 8 years old.

We are fighting to protect children. We filed an amicus brief and won at the U.S. Supreme Court defending Tennessee’s law protecting children from harmful puberty blockers, hormones, and irreversible mutilating surgeries. This is a victory for children from the gender industry.

The decision will keep in effect similar laws protecting children in 26 other states.

This horrible assault on our children is why we represent licensed therapists who provide lifesaving counseling to minors who desperately desire to conform their attractions, behaviors, and gender identities to their sincerely held religious beliefs.

Since Liberty Counsel has represented thousands of licensed counselors who diagnose and treat gender confusion with talk therapy, it therefore has a vital interest in how the High Court scrutinizes state bans on child medical mutilation.

We filed amicus briefs at the U.S. Supreme Court in a case involving a Colorado law that bans Christian counsel for those struggling with unwanted gender confusion or same-sex attractions. Based on the arguments, I believe we will win this case after fighting against these counseling bans since 2012. But then we will be busy filing suit against state and local governments to enforce this victory.
