Miss America contract defines female to include males 

Now Miss America is trying to silence Kayleigh for speaking truth

TMZ caught up with our client, Kayleigh Bush, on Capitol Hill last week as she was exiting a “She Leads America” event. After winning the Miss North Florida crown, the Miss America pageant stripped Kayleigh of all the benefits of her crown and retired her crown because she refused to agree with a lie that a male can be a female.

“It’s disappointing,” Kayleigh told the TMZ reporters, “because Miss America has honored women for over 100 years, and now they can’t even define what a woman is.”

Now Miss America is threatening to sue Kayleigh Bush for speaking the truth about their nonsensical contract that says a female can include a male.

When Kayleigh Bush earned the title of Miss North Florida, she did everything right. She worked hard, represented her community with grace, and earned her crown with integrity and excellence. But four weeks later, at a photo shoot with the other queens in the Miss Florida competition, something shocking happened.  

The Miss Florida and Miss America organizations presented a new contract — one demanding that Kayleigh agree to compete against biological males, so long as those males had undergone “sex reassignment surgery” and “vaginoplasty” before the age of 14. This was not the contract she signed when she won. It was a bait and switch, forced on her only after she proved herself worthy of advancing.  

Kayleigh could not in good conscience sign a document that redefined woman, violated her deeply held religious beliefs, and encouraged the surgical mutilation of children, all while contradicting clear Florida law affirming biological reality. Instead of respecting her rights, the pageant punished her, stripping away the benefits and retiring her crown. This young woman who simply stood for truth was sidelined from the very competition she rightfully won to continue to the Miss Florida pageant. 

This is not just about one pageant.

This is about whether a pageant honoring and empowering women still belongs to women. How can Miss America, a pageant for young women, not know how to define a woman?  

Miss Universe some years ago forgot how to define a woman, but Miss America stood strong until now. That is why Kayleigh chose to enter the Miss America pageant. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that a male cannot be a female.  

Miss America has threatened to sue Kayleigh for speaking about the contract. Kayleigh would love to put this behind her, but when asked by TMZ or any other media, she will not lie.  

Miss America will not bully Kayleigh. Change the contract. Honor women. Stop pretending boys can be girls.   

This nonsense places ideology above science, fairness, and child safety.
