House Members blow whistle on Majority Leader’s CBDC plan  

President Trump and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent have repeatedly stated their disdain for a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).   

But the U.S. Senate is trying to pull an end run around the Trump administration to implement a CBDC when as Trump leaves office.  

Senators sneaked a provision deep into the upcoming “must pass” affordable housing bill. If we don’t compel them to remove this provision, these Chinese Communist-style programmable digital dollars will be forced on us just four years from now, in the year 2030.

"This Administration's been very clear,” said Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, “There will be no Central Bank Digital Currency, which I think would be the first step toward tracking.”

Congress members expose the Senate majority leader

In April, Representatives Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) and Tim Burchett (R-TN) took to social media to warn Americans that Senate Majority Leader John Thune is refusing to ban CBDCs, as the House did earlier this year.

Instead, the Senate buried a provision deep in the Affordable Housing Act that gives the Fed the green light to foist a CBDC upon us in 2030.

“America is a FREE COUNTRY,” says Rep. Tom Emmert (R-MN). “A central bank digital currency would give our government the ability to surveil us just like the CCP does to its citizens. The Senate needs to pass the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act ASAP.”

“A Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) would give the government total surveillance and control over every single transaction in your life,” says Rep. Keith Self (R-TX). “They could see what you buy, freeze your money at will, and program exactly what you’re “allowed” to spend it on. This isn’t money. It’s financial tyranny. CBDC must be banned—forever.”
