The truth about SPLC exposed  

In recent weeks, congressional hearings and legal filings have brought serious scrutiny to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). A deluge of testimony and evidence is raising concerns about its conduct and tactics.

At the same time, Liberty Counsel continues to defend itself against a long-running lawsuit that a court has already ruled lacks merit. Yet the case persists through the SPLC’s continued abuse of the legal system to attack us.

Despite mounting questions and a growing body of evidence, the legal fight continues — draining time and resources that would otherwise go toward defending religious liberty, life, and the family.

A few weeks ago, a Grand Jury issued 11 indictments against the SPLC. In the last few days, another indictment was issued – and you won’t believe this one! I will share more below.

This is not just a legal dispute anymore. It’s a sustained effort to destroy us that demands a strong and immediate response.

For more than a decade, Liberty Counsel has invested thousands of hours and reviewed massive amounts of evidence to defend the truth — and we’ve prevailed in court. Yet the fight continues through appeals and ongoing legal action designed to exhaust resources and delay justice.

While our case is ongoing, a Grand Jury has indicted the SPLC on multiple counts of bank and wire fraud. An additional indictment includes new charges of money laundering and funneling roughly 4 million dollars of donor funds to fictitious bank accounts.

The new indictment has also revealed that one of the leaders of the SPLC was in a romantic relationship — even living together and sharing two personal bank accounts - with a known member of the neo-Nazi organization National Alliance. The SPLC used donor funds to pay that white supremacist more than 140,000 dollars — money that was deposited directly into the personal bank account of the SPLC official and her lover, and was used to pay the couple’s personal living expenses.

Meanwhile, the SPLC pleaded with donors to send money to defeat that same white supremacy organization at the same time an SPLC leader was romantically involved and living with an active member of that white supremacy group.

You just couldn’t make this up if you tried, and ALL of this is verified in the Grand Jury indictment against the SPLC!

Despite the indictment, the SPLC continues to beg donors to help them defeat “hate groups,” a deliberately false label it has applied to Liberty Counsel.

And the SPLC continues its frivolous case against us despite the fact that a federal court already ruled that their claims are absolutely without merit.

Furthermore, in its latest lawfare tactic, the SPLC deliberately misstated the facts of the previous court’s ruling to the appeals court to abuse the legal system and harass us. Liberty Counsel has formally requested the court to sanction the SPLC for this abuse of the system.
